  5. I can ensure you they are the same. I have fitted the grooved & dimpled rotors on my V35, they are basically 350Z rotors brembo sized (324mm front & 322mm rear), and rotor swap is done by Race Brakes here in Melbourne. I've asked them how's the fit when I picked up the car and they told me it is a very straight swap. Everything fits. :-) But of course, you're welcome to ask another 2nd/3rd opinions to be safe.
  6. Isn't that the OEM paddle shift that came with the V35 GT-8 ? I heard if you're installing it onto a coupe then the car is not pre-wired yet and therefore it will need some sort of 'Chris Rogers' treatment...
  7. I saw a video on youtube, doesn't seem to rotate with the steering wheel isn't it? Does it feel awkward?
  8. Looks great but... The position looks a bit awkward... too low IMHO. Is it because it's actually designed for Z33 instead of V35? Also, is a Valve Body upgrade is required for this shift kit? Also, can you post a DIY step instructions how you wire the whole thing in 1 hour? Thanks
  9. Update to Group Buy 39 Orders received 1. Angry13 (payment cleared) 2. Jacek (payment cleared) 3. Krishy (payment cleared)
  10. Was thinking to go to Geelong/Torquay bringing out the dog to the beach tomorrow but not actually confirmed yet... If nothing else happening we might just take the RAV instead of the V...
  11. Group Buy 39 is rolling for 2nd November! Orders received 1. Angry13 (payment cleared) 2. Jacek (waiting for payment to clear) If you want to order leave me a pm for quotes, or if you have made payment send me the pm. I will reply to your messages in the evening only...
  12. It is indeed the factory privacy glass. Come standard in most mid-upper levell Japanese built cars. We have that factory privacy glass on our RAV4 Cruiser (they're not installed on the basic CV, only on Cruiser and Cruiser-L with leather), and of course on the V35 350GT premium. In Japan it is illegal to tint the front windows even the slightest tint is illegal, and therefore the privacy glass is only applied to the rear windows and windscreen. You don't see them on locally built Toyotas like Camry or Aurion of course... because Australia don't have such rule.
  13. All pms replied with quotes... Note that due to firewall @ my new workplace, I can only respond to your inquiries in the evening... so drop me a PM and please be patient.
  14. Next Group Buy is now open till 2nd November
  15. That might be the one i've been spotting over the past few months, I normally spotted him on Dudley, most likely just after he got off Footscray Rd... dun think he is even on this forum...
  16. sounds like you need the Chris Rogers treatment... I've done all that, aust nav, aust tv, and fm band expander. stil displaying japanese frequency but at least now my 81.1 is tuned to 101.1 (20 mhz step down) sorting out nav and cruise today... and a dvd/cd changer
  17. Damn, only Hornsby Nissan so far? That leaves us Victorians having to drive up there and back...
  18. how much does it cost to comply V36 if I don't mind asking?
  19. Is the provided yellow bulb bright enough during daytime compared to OEM bulb?
  20. Both of group buy #36 & 37 has been processed today, so they have shipped it out either yesterday as promised and some orders with pads today... I know it's friday evening now, if the couriers didn't make it I'm sure they'll schedule them for delivery next week.
  21. can you just add a A/V lead in the glovebox, connecting to the extra DTV-B tuner inputs? if you can make that Nav on all the time with a flick of a hidden button, will that means the DTV-B tuner A/V inputs are no longer used by the nav, leaving it free for DVD-stacker plus one more, ie. the A/V lead I mentioned above?
  22. Agree, sounds more like a V8 pulse... Maybe from the twin exist exhaust configuration that made that sound, or just happen to be all V configuration engine tend to make that kind of noise...
  23. Chris, you got a pm
  24. Alright, just had news in... group buys 37 & 38 had been processed and they've start distributing them yesterday. Those who ordered some pads will be delivered tomorrow (waiting some more pad stock to arrive) but hopefully you all should receive by Friday
  25. could be an earth wire kit (I hope for your sake) which is said can improve voltage stability and give a bit more power, regardless whether you're skeptical about it or not... if it's some dodgy wiring from previous owner, then I wish you the best of luck it didn't stuff up welcome to the world of importing cars from Japan!
