I found it helps to set the mirrors outwards to a point that you've just lost the vision to the corner of your rear fender. that maximises the view a little bit wider, but you gotta tilt your head sometimes to spot the fender corner if you sometimes need to judge distance when parking/reversing. Alternatively does anyone managed to find thru US or JDM sites the genuine oem mirrors? that should solve the view problem. Most aust. delivered cars now have both convex mirrors on both driver and passenger car but due to perhaps not enough proof to re-evidence the ADR package, all V35 imports now have flat mirrors on both sides or perhaps the convex mirrors from JDM factory has too much scale reduction ratio compared to what they've fitted on aust. delivered cars.

I heard that too. Just can't remember which one is which. Then it is DOT 5.1 I'm not good at remembering the 'decimals' point... I believe any good brake shops won't fill my reservoir with DOT 5, it should be DOT 5.1 then.

Changed or not changed that doesn't matter or worry me a bit, they're 100% OEM brembo calipers and will perform just as good as when they came out of the factory. I could always put the standard plain OEM rotors back on if that makes you happier.... If the OEM rotors are not worn I would have kept them on, the stock ones are starting to squeal a bit and there are scores on the rotors surface. As I am organising group buy on these rotors and pads, it feels funny if I never had tried any of the rotors or pads before, so I thought what the heck, just get a set of the top end grooved & dimpled rotors and the redstuff street pads and try how they go. Rotors were swapped by Race Brakes @ Yarraville, all done professionally, plus brake fluid flush and bleed with DOT5. Result is very smooth and very quiet brakes, in both light or hard braking.

PMs replied... In case anyone still wanna see some more pics of the rotors on an actual car, here's a set of Grooved & Dimpled rotors on my V35. Rims are dirty/dusty and a bit hard to see unless from certain angles... Pads are EBC Redstuff 3000 series ceramic. Very quiet and no squeals, better than the oem pads I used for RWC.

Good news. RDA just called and those orders have now been processed. some left yesterday, some gone out today. If it doesn't arrive by next Monday, let me know. But I'm sure everyone will get it by end of this week.

Hi guys, those 4 of you who havent' receive their rotors from Group buy 35 (2nd part) I do apologises although some of the cause was out of my control. RDA email server was down and the order list that I sent them apparently didn't get to where they should be so it hasn't been processed. They've only processed the 1st part of Group Buy 35, and the whole Group Buy 36. Also I had just officially announced resignation at work to move on to a new workplace in 4 weeks so things are a bit hectic for me, thus my sincere apology for this part. I have faxed them the order list last night as I can't reach them by email, and I will ring them this morning to follow up my fax. I will give an update ASAP before the end of today.

I've contacted RDA but had a problem getting my email through to them (server problem). And due to workload I only found out about an hour ago when I got home from work. So I will give them a call Monday and find out what happened with the 4 ppl's order in group buy 35.

Q1 & 2... sample cars are already in but there may not be any RAWS that has a compliance plate yet. So price for compliance is unsure at the moment. The V35 compliance on average cost $3k plus tyres. Q3 & 4 - no. all screen in japanese fixed. fullstop. may take time for local electronic experts to find a way to tap in the video signal and piggy back some english navi unit / tv tuner into the screen display, but that's about it. engine part I believe would be different. some would be shared. Q5. there's a import calculator you can use from j-spec.com.au or prestigemotorsport.com.au just factor in about $1k+ for shipping, about 15% import duty, and 10% GST, and compliance cost plus tyres. Then the rego cost in your state.
