  3. Found this browsing on the net, has most of everything: http://www.brashimports.com.au/BI6510BT.htm Built in GPS, DVD player, 6.5" motorised touch screen double din unit, bluetooth interface that mutes audio during call, AM/FM radio, built in 5.1 amps, card reader (SD), TV tuner, etc - read for yourself, quite interesting...
  4. no problems... I'll pm you next time or keep a watch on this space
  5. it is ON now, this group buy is about the R34 GTT front rotors, machined from 7701S 324mm GTR rotors down to 310mm without loss of efficiency - all for no extra cost over 7701S... sending you a quote asap...
  6. well bolts is not included so I hope that's not hard to find in the brake shop... and missing 1 brake hose, so might go for either Nismo one or Maltech one for about $400-ish. Do you reckon it's worth finding a brembo sized rotor shield?
  7. Scathing, when you upgraded yours to brembo calipers, did you need to make a custom bracket or is the factory oem brembos from 350Z/V35 bolts on to the non-brembo mounting points?
  8. Haven't seen any 18" stock for sale, but came across one set of 17" with tyres, genuine V35 rims and the owner was asking around $600-ish +

  10. yeah, as i never have one but i'll try to 'borrow' a nav dvd asap to see what the other buttons will do... also does anyone have the ETC (electronic toll card) that previous owner left in their vehicle in Japan? just wondering what the other ETC-related menus on the screen will reveal with that card inside...?

  14. Does anyone actually have the Nav DVD around and can burn me a copy? I'll pay for the Dual Layer DVD-/+R cost and shipping... mine's missing from the car, I just wonder what other buttons will do if I press them with the DVD inside.
  15. Just a quick update again: Group buy 32: 1. twogtrs (payment cleared) 2. RobMz (payment cleared) R34 GTT: 1. Yo-yo (payment cleared, front and rear) 2. raps86 (TBA) 3. decim8 (TBA) 4. vidospace (TBA) 5. Evil34 (TBA)
  16. Max, in theory, if your aftermarket australian navigation solution or aftermarket DVD have an IR remote input, someone who's savvy with electronics can map the remaining buttons by finding out what IR data sequence the aftermarket dvd/nav unit requires to perform its functions (ie. zoom in / zoom out) and somehow make a relay that transmit the same IR data sequence when the factory button is pressed. then that will work. But that will require lots of research and knowledge in IR-related electronic. And I don't think until now anyone have gone all that length to solve the V35 buttons where the V35 is such a niche market here in Australia... should have bought a 350Z locally perhaps eh?
  17. It's widely available from jpnz.co.nz I got my R33 manual from there as well, and the V35... They're a company who do translation on most Japanese JDM model imported into NZ
  18. no worries, there's always be next one
  19. Got it... RDA has confirmed they've done the first 4 pairs of R34 resized rotors. First come first serve: Group buy 32: - twogtrs (waiting for payment to clear) - RobMz (payment cleared) R34 GTT owners who wanted the front 310mm plain/slotted rotors: 1. Yo-yo (payment cleared, front and rear) 2. raps86 (TBA) 3. decim8 (TBA) 4. vidospace (TBA) 5. Evil34 (TBA)
  20. Well Kenda is compliance tyres so you'd expect level of grip and quality of compliance tyres in general. I used to get a quote $350-ish for bridgestone 235s, not sure on 245s but for that extra $50 each for a better tyre, why not? but hancook and/or nankang these days are quite ok, but don't expect they'll grip like dunlop sp or a bridgestone sports series.
  21. Max, I had Kenda tyres fitted on mine for compliance purpose. less than $900 full set, that's about $225 each incl GST. Has yours passed compliance? If not the 19" may not be compliable depending if your car has a 19" listed on its tyre placard, and who's doing the compliance.
  22. that said, so 370gt only available as coupe. so if u need a sedan, don't bother to ponder around , just buy the one you test drove if that suits your need. being in nz the prices there is likely pretty cheap already with lower tariff, so u probably won't save much importing one urself. importing urself means you gotta go through hundreds of cars which may not have the options you want, as all that reverse camera, dvd player are, I believe, optional parts that varies from car to car - depends what previous owner put in in japan.
  23. V36 will not be coming in another year or so because we have that 18-month SEVS rule to allow official car dealership to decide whether to import them in full volume. Once the 18 months waiting period is over, then anyone will be allowed to import the V36 generation under the SEVS. The 370GT coupe has just been released late last year, so based on SEVS ruling, no 370GT will officially be available for Oz until sometime mid/late 2009 under SEVS. However a few workshop has already started to import their test car for emission, crash test, etc. There are no reason NOT to buy the 350GT even in a V35 generation, they have always been a great car, great quality finish for that price....
  24. Spotted a red v35 coupe tonight, parked in lt lonsdale behind q.v. bldg in the melbourne city...
