  1. Problem is with race only imports you need to hold a proper CAMS license, e.g. L3S. The entry level L2S that most people here use to participate in club track days is not good enough, you need to be in the next level up which means you have to be actually participate in competition motorsport.

  4. Gee, this car is getting way too high tech, next thing you never know it may shut down from jealousy when you drool over a Ferrari at the traffic light... it's got its own positronic brain programmed for emotion.
  5. LOL this thread is becoming V35 air intake discussion and air pressure in your eardrum generated by SPL (sound pressure level) from the audio ha ha. do you run your KW805 into stock bose amp the aftermarket amp or not use the bose amp alltogether? And stock speakers or aftermarket too?
  6. You got the older CA18DET or the SR20DET?
  7. Well not everyone is a handy electrician, and those products sold in U.S. websites are basically for a quick solution as ppl there want something very practical rather than fiddling around with custom made thing...
  8. Yes I've known the website for quite some time but swapping to that means i'm loosing the bose sound, I'll see how it goes after it landed and complied whether the bose sound is good enough, as I'm not really an audiophile.
  9. Got a long day in the office today so I've just replied to PMs and sending quotes just a few minutes ago... Quoted price via pm will be all delivered prices...
  10. no effect on removing the resonator on the intake pipe? that's a good looking silver one, mine's still in process of import approval, won't land till a while... it's an auto though, but premium with bose, so can't really swap the head unit unless i find a double din dash trim and loose the bose sound...
  11. You can get a Nismo panel filter as most JDM imports factory airbox is already a good CAI setup. I had my old RB25DET on my R33 modded with Z32 AFM, FMIC, 16psi and HKS2535GT, and it made 230rwkw (310rwhp), or estimated 270kw/360HP @ engine without requiring any pod filter. That's how good the factory airbox is... I know on N/A cars the gain may not be that drastic however with a good flow panel filter and a good tune it will be sufficient. There's not really need to switch to pod filter as no high suction power is required as compared to forced induction engines... I read in an old HPI magazine article that on N/A cars you gotta becareful changing the intake length or size, as doing it wrongly may result in less power. They did some experiment playing with the size of the intake resonator after the airfilter, a very old article, I've thrown away all my HPI magazine when moved house, so can't find it for you anymore.
  12. Devil Advocate, pm sent... Vidospapce, still waiting for RDA's reply re: R34 GTT front
  13. GT-Passage, R34 front GT-T not yet in stock but I will keep checking with RDA. It's been a while I'm not 100% why the delay is however I think it's gotta be available anytime this year. Stolen_S15, I have started group buy 2008 in the group buy section, click the link in my signature...
  14. RDA Rotors group buys is back. All discounted GB prices will be quoted to you via pm and is for your eyes only, as RDA also need to protect the interests of their authorised dealers/retailers. For those who are new to this Group Buy, please click the link on my signature to see previous Group Buys and the tremendous response they generated since 2006-2007. There are two types of rotors on offer as below: Standard Slotted Rotors Grooved Dimpled (Dimpled & Slots) - Gold Passivated - more rust resistance More info can be found here: RDA Brakes Products The following are the parts which I can get access to for most Nissans: Sloted Rotors: 1. R33 GTS-t/R34 GT non turbo: F=7693G 296mm RRP $465, R=908G 297mm RRP $285 10. R32 GTR (late model)/R33 GTR/R34 GTR: F=7701G 324mm RRP $575, R=7702G 300mm RRP $525 11. S14/S15 Silvia: F=909G 280mm RRP $305, R=906G RRP $285 12. R34 GT-T turbo: F= 310mm N/A (TBA), R=908G 297mm RRP $285 Can also get rotors for the following cars: - S13 CA18DET/SR20DET - V35 Skyline / 350Z non brembo - R33 non-turbo *) All RRP prices above are per pair, GST inclusive however they DO NOT INCLUDE delivery costs. In addition to rotors, I am now officially offering EBC Green/Red/Yellow pads to suit most Nissan cars above. Please pm me for quote. Purchases that includes 4 corner rotors and 4 corner pads will be given an extra $5-$15 off depending on combination of rotor and pads. At the moment there is still no news on availability for the 310mm front rotors R34 GT-T (turbo), so the only R34 GT (non-turbo) rotors available is the 296mm front and all R34 GT/GT-T 297mm rear (Same as R33 GTS-t). However RDA told me that the rotors are being manufactured and should be available hopefully this year (2008). I will keep checking on it from time to time. Deliveries all around Aust in approximately 2-5 business days via TNT road courier. No pickups as with the discounted prices that they gave us for at least 15-20% off retail, they'd rather concentrate on preparing orders than spending numerous request to distribute rotors to each branch so it can be picked up, as often this caused confusion in each branch to which order has been paid through group buy vs each branch's own sale, etc. Batch #31 is now open until Fri 29th May 2008. Pm me for quotes. Payment need to clear before 30th May, otherwise I will put you in the next batch in early/mid June 2008. Delivery expected between 2-6 June 2008. Regards, Rianto
  15. it works!! need to add skylinesaustralia.net as safe sender as well, not only .com
  16. alright, i have added @skylinesaustralia.com in the safe sender, let's see if I got notification when anyone reply to this thread.
  17. I will check, however black listed domains should either go to my hotmail's junk mail folder or will appear with blocked content. So far nothing is received, but I'll check and see.
  18. Has anyone ordered the impul high power ECU from japanparts? Not sure if that's for manual only or will work with auto or not. http://www.japanparts.com/db/category.php?...er=5&car=76 It's under ECU. You'll need to give your ECU part number so they can register it with the factory immobiliser from Nissan, otherwise probably you won't be able to start up the car. that also means that very likely people cannot trade these ECU as second hand unit because it won't work in another car.
  19. pm & thread reply notification still doesn't work... I kept watching my hotmail's junk folder but it's not even there, so it's not my hotmail's junk filter...
  20. That's a good read, but is there an import CVT expert here in Australia? There's another thread where a V35 sedan owner with CVT had problem with the transmission and not even NIssan Australia want anything to do with it because the CVT in the 350GT-8 (RWD) is totally different than the one in the Australian delivered Maxima (FWD) and Murano (4WD). I just hoped it sorted out for him, as the last time I read in the thread is the car still off the road for months and months...
  21. Does the de-reg paper actually supposed to be sent direct to your customs broker and you receive a copy?
  22. You should go to the Office of Fair Trading in your state and explain this matter to them. Just google it or find it in your local white/yellow pages. Then take it from there.
  23. Mine won't be arriving till around late Jan, missed the booking date for the vessel leaving today, so gonna have to wait for the next vessel. Was told security at the port is very tight these days so taking photos before it's loaded on the boat may not be possible... Plus new year period everyone's on holiday so probably no one's there to take photos till it arrives for compliance in... Problem now is, I will have to be away from late Jan till late Feb, so hopefully nothing happened while it's being taken to the RAWS from the dock while I am overseas... If it didn't missed the boat it would have been better... as I'm still here to arrange custom broker clearance and delivery to workshop. It's just an '03 Premium model, tiptronic auto, supposed to be 100% stock.
  24. Yes, that will be on the list... with V35 I read from another thread gotta be careful with the auto trans oil, only Nissan J-Matic, anything else will stuff the transmission up. Not sure about what diff oil to use though.
