Thanks for the replys guys. Yeh i wasnt expecting top of the range for the price i got it, but the functionality is what sold me. How did you guys go about running two amps of it? Would love to get a nice brand name one for round 1000, but just spent 1000 on clarion gear. might end up just selling this one and buying a nice headunit with multiple rca outs.

Bit of an update, bought one of these decks for pretty cheap so gonna give it ago. Now i just bought some clarion amps to run my speakers/sub but i just realised that the deck only has one set of rca leads, well its got two but one is input other output. What can i do to run both amps? use a rca splitter? would that decrease quality sound? or should i just go for a nice deck instead?

well everything is now pretty much back to stock bar the fmic and exhaust, which i will be looking at changing for the noise test.

Im in the same boat mate, its a bloody headache. I booked in to get emissions test at penrith, lucky someone pulled out they are booked till july the girl told me. Booked in next sat for the noise test crap. I got done just as you enter M5 at liverpool, going towards cambelltown, he was about 100 metres in front of me. saw me coming pulled over waited for me to pass then flashed straight away. this was at 7am sunday long weekend.

sounds bout right i just put stock box back in along with stock bov after getting defected last weekend. my god what a difference in noise, i miss that induction noise.

got defected this weekend aswell. pod, bov, two low, he didnt have a db meter so he said i will be receiving a letter in next few days stating which authorised inspection station i can take car to because two many people are doing dogys. does that sound right?

i was thinking of putting the same ones back in, but i did change them cause i was getting the usual miss fire above 5k. the problem happens when the car is warmed up and running for about 30mins of driving. if its cooled down or the next day it will run fine untill it warms up again and again happens

Would just like to add that this happened yesterday, well i was gonna pull everything out again today but thought i would give it one last start and surprisngly it seems to run fine now. So my thought is more on the coils now as i thought it might of been the plugs. seems as though the problem is arising as it gets hotter. but maybe i should still get some colder plugs as mine are 5 heat rating. when i changed to spitfires. or ill give the jjr ones ago.

hey mate did you end up fixing the problem? as my car to right now is in the stage off feeling like a rexy. i fear it might be the coils aswell

is there a way to test the coil packs? as i changed my plugs to iridiums last week. gapped to .8mm heat range 5. car was running fine for a week then yesterday all of a sudden it just started running like shat, keeps missing feels like its running on 5 cyclinders. pulled them out had a look all seemed fine, then when i put them in again the car ran fine for a few hours then half way to the city bang the problem came back. kind off feels like the coils are playing up or sparks are no good. no idea but im tired off pulling everything apart over and over again. any ideas?

yeh thats what i was thinking cause my mates one has the inputs at the top aswell. would be keen to find one that would fit flush. i reckon it would look choice lol .

height adjustable and damper adjustable are they mate? do you adjust the height with a c spanner whatever its called?

Hey mate, yeh some pics would be great if you can email them to [email protected] that would be great. I have been looking at a few brands for quite a whilte and the eonon seems to be one of the more popular ones. Does your one have the input for usb/sd card on the top when you release the screen? cause thats what makes my mates one stick out on the commowhore so to access the inputs on the top.

i gathered youll need some upgrades to run along side such as fuel pump, injectors etc but i meant is anything else needed to make it fit. like bolt on wise.
