Even tho thier is no real point to your thread mate, it's still good to hear what accerly went on from someone who was at the scene. I would sugest another cruise (SAU offical), start in the early everning when people are around, and see what happens. This would show people that not all skylines are hoon's and do drive properly, even still take a video camera next time and film the cruise.

i have used one in the past, was a small gain. defently spend money on a ecu (like nistune) had better gains from a ecu then the chip.

Ok, im going to up grade the fuel pump in my 32 to be on the safe side when on the track. Im aming for around 200RWKW. I'm also planing on puting a 32GTR fuel tank in (due to being remote wont the extra range) my question is which pump to go for. 32GTR pump, most likly can get when i get the fuel tank. IT's not power but accleration that you will notice. Also what are you using the car for. if its manly track look at the removing the rear seats, carpet, anything you basicly wont need. and why not just get some more powerful speakers and ditch the sub and amp.

Probly not a bad idea to get them machined (did you do this when you put the new pads in, should always do this with new pads) about a 30 min drive should be enough to bed in brakes (about 10 aplercations of 100 ish to 40 ish to get them to work, then drive a bit not thrasing it tho. thats i used to do, do the bed in then drive for a bit.

Yes thier is a how to, look in the FAQ sticky at the top of this section, should be under timing belt, You do need to remove the timing belt in order to change the watetr pump, if you havnt changed the belt in say the last 10,000km you should change this is as well. gates sell a timing belt kit, which has a timing belt, a tensioner and idel puly for about $400 (good valuale) as you should also change the pully and tensioner when you change the belt. While you have it off consider throwing some adj cam gears in (if you wont) as you will have to repleace the belt agan when you/ if you decide to change the cam gears.

Just brought some 32GTR while line sway bars adj, but cant use the front one a 32 gtst. does any body wont them. pm me

Thier is a diffrence in gtst and gtr brakes (thinkness defently diamiter not shore. when you bed them in how much pressure did you use, if you used light (i.e lown time to slow down) they probly didn't bed properly. use about 1/2 to 2/3 pedal pressure from 80 -100km to about 30-40km/h. also were they locked in properly. i have seen my springs that hold the rods that go thew the pads com loose and rod start to work its way out.

Does some one have any pics with labals for the parts the have to change, im still trying to get my head around what needs to change with what in order to the diffs to swap around.

You guys did make shore you tightend all bolts up all the way. a slighly lose nut could cuase the noise.

For your exhasut, as mentiond above a decent brand 3" will suit you fine. Thier is a thread in the turbo section on diffrent IC pipe lay outs. personly im getting a blits se FMIC from just jap as it uses the factory piping route and doest clog the eng bay IMO. http://www.justjap.com/store/product.php?productid=19401&cat=&page=1 Thier is also a forumula to work out what injector size you need v power (have a power goal in mind to work this is out) as for fuel pump bosh 040 are good and are widly used, plus are in pump. From whats ive heard look at the garret GT-RS ( i think thats the one), also thier is a rb20 turbo up grade thrad in the turbo section with result from diffrent turbo and mod combernations. and with your brakes, go for R33 GTST items over the 32 GTR items they are bigger (i think thicker as well). look at Racebrakes RB74 pads, DBA 4000 slotted or if you wont 5000 series sloted rotors (5000 are two pce), dot 5.1 brake fluid (motul) and braided brake lines, and brake master cyl brace (if you plan on tracking it)

IMO tho you dont need the Tachometer the factory one is fine, plus will help you to avoid the cops, and $1500 is a good price to install two gauges, pod kit, power fc and tune.

If you have a manual trans (most likly) fill the box up with oil untill it starts dripping out the filler hole. this also goes for the diff.

Ok after reading another post it reminded me to replace the water pump when i do the timing belt (doing a 100 000km service). ive had a look and cant find my answer. My question is should i upgrade/ change the pump from a RB20 pump to say a n1 pump. The car is a r32 gtst power will be around 200rwkw when ive got it back on the road, and i live in darwin (so 34deg days) i also to track the car on a regular basis. any in put is helpfule.

Thats the correct method, as for the adjusting from memory the right side you adj up and the left side you adj down. you will know when you cant spin the disc by hand.

Ok brought more parts. project mu brake shoes (for the hand brake) white line GTR adj sway bar (also got the front in the deal but may have to get rid of it) just jap hardend tie rod ends. 4 X r32 gtst rims 4 x R33 gtst rims Im waiting on pics from my wife so i can put them up And thanks to the cyclone that hit darwin i will defently be needing a new interior as it got wet and now will get modly as all the windows are out in waiting for paint. If any one has some R32 GTR or bucket seats please let me know.
