I think im gona go the S14, Cause if i got the R32 i would be past considering an eng swap for a 3L so that blows the budget. plus the 32 is heaver. also can the 180sx head lights go on the s14 like the s14 cause that would look diffent imo plus i do like the pop up lights.

compared to the 32. The one thing i dont like about the s14 is the rear end. I think ive narrowed down to 32 v 14. how hard is it to put a RB in the s14, that could be the substerute 6cyl end in a decent cahssies. but if i did that why not keep it in the skyline?

accerly Los angerlies road are far worse. was just over there for work late last year my god they are shit. cambered straights (heavy) fill cracks every wear. some streaches felt like i was getting a massage they were so bumby, even as bad as driveing on a ripple strip. Darwin roads are quite good nice and smooth ( i relised this when i went back to melb were i felt every bump in a camry.

mmmm, Is intresting i think im gona have to drive all of them and find out (well ive driven a stock auto 180sx) was ok but i prefered th r31 that i had at the time as the 6 just had way more punch even tho the 180sx was a tad behind the 31 (1/2 car), the idea of a cheep s13 and using the spear cash is good. but how may would i find that arnt farked to oblivion?

Some one needs to learn about car's. The vl can drift there are two with top end drift associan that drift quite well the eng in the vl is the same as the R31 skyline Serosly a vl is worth only about 4k a r34 gtt is about 25k so you would pay him the cash and why would he wont a vl anyway they are plaged with problems v thr r34 (and even r31) Think you should stick with your vl and be fully sick in that and let the cops catch you on the street's. at least it may take the heat of imports then

Got a set of 4 stud 16x7 16x8+25 wantabee rims. imo look the best on a HR31 and i got a set for sale $1200. from memory the guys i brought them off who had a HR31 (he wonted tri spokes) said he was running spacers on either the front or back can conferm fo you tho. pm me if your intrested

Dont get the A drive they are shit. I had them on my r31 with 118rwkw at size 225/45/17, and i did not like them one bit. they didn't inspire conferdence and were realy hard. could smoke them very easerly when i put my foot down. I would go the brigstone re001 (thats what im gona use next.)

Can you send the pics to [email protected] then. as for the camber tops its pretty easy. remove the front spring assymenbly fromt he car. then atach sping clamps (they compress th springs) compress the springs so the tension is take off the top hat. then undo the nut in the center of the top hat and remove top hat. install k-mac adj top hats re do nut release thenions on springs and reinstall get wheel aliment that easy then to adj jack car up losen the 3 nusts and move the spring around.

That cops sounds familer. When i was at tafe my trade teacher told us of a story (was at the time currently in a court case) were he had being harrased by the one cop. u-turns in trafic told to show up to the cop shop when the cop couldn't touch. in the end the cop tryed to pic for have turbo item in a n/a car (my my teacher had a part to play with the vic road laws so he new them). so after takeing him to court and winning the cop is now not alowed to even pull him over. point in case If you feel there is one cop targeting you or (your type of car) complain.

Ah your front end is very simier to my old front end but i used r33 gtst brakes and had k-mac adj camber caster top hats. yep get some bigger sway bars, strut brace, cusco brake master cyl brace ($110 from powerplayimports under r31 house) and nolerthane bushes and it will handle realy good can you shed some light on yuor rear end i.e pics im a bit confused

Man i feel sorry for you guys. I moved up to darwin just over a year ago. Now they have started putting redlight/speed cameras in, but from what ive seen the cops are generly pretty good towords imports unless you get known to them. also darwin is a lot more relaxed on its laws re mod's and the such for example. p-platers can drive what they like e.g v8 and turbo. (mind you there are some fast v8 utes up hear being driven by p platers) If we wish to mod our cars and its gona be a major change i.e s13 suspetion in 31 or brake up grade. we put forword a propsal of the planed mods, what were useing and how and why it's being done. this then get asseseted by the TAC- technical advisory commities who will aprove it or not. and if it get's aproved your allowed to have it on the street. To bad vic doesn't take leed and it seems like the NT gov it following vic/nsw more and more as they just introduced the hoon laws.

IF you dont mind going with out power. Think toyota camry, i have one as a daily now and it's good for a family plenty of room in the back and the boot is huge. as for power, i have seen people turbo them in the states or and eng swap could be done?
