  2. hi guys with me about to start my build on a 3L R32 GTS 25 4DR 1991 build. i had a quick look on cams but cant find the info im after. would you guys and girls be able to give guidence on classes for raceing. iv heard alot about 3d class please exspalain. im going to to build the car up for time attack, duttons, hill climbs, motakanas track raceing. any help would be apreceated. and any one know of a way around entering a non regersted vehcile (cant even reg mine due to RB25DE eng) in dutton. regards brentt
  3. hey mate r33 gts-t bracks are only 2mm smaller in diamiter then r32 gtr. i would recermend getting r33 gts-t brackes all round as they are 4pot calipers and simmer sized to r32 gtr. plus they are easy to find (find a wrecked 33 gts-t) then get some DBA slotted disc (they can be costly i think they are about $350-$400 pr disc for the 4000 series for the front) and some good pads and brake fluid.
  4. well i was useing my r31 as a track car from time to time but nw up graded to a r32 gts25. had 120rwkws with the manual in it the r31 had the following nistune computer stage 3 cam factory lsd high tec exstractors 2.25" catc back exhasut k&n pod king springs low with kyb shocks nolerthane bushes 21mm rear sway bar strut brace r33gts-t braks front with DBA 4000 slotted disc race brakes rb74 pads (found out the hard way of brake fade at winton with stock r31 slotted gear) k-mac adj camber caster top hats (front) adj caster arms DBA slotted disc rear17x7 rims moutel 5.1 brake fluid wasn't the fastet car but she could hold here own even managed to keep up with a few r33 gtst around sandown with a slipping auto and no computer or cam. one thing i found tho was she never wonted to steep out no matter what she would understeer/ over steer but neither both but now on the r32 for a full build with a rb25de

  7. hey mate and when your off your p's you can put some low comp pistons in and go turbo for a cheep price then youll have a real drifter. you may wont to look at some forged conrods as im starting to hear that RB30E rod dont like rpms above 6500, that said chris easton (drift pirate) has 245rwkw (i think) with a stock RB30E bottom end.
  8. cool that sorta helps what brands are avalerble for the ffr and whats the cost for a rb26dett set intake

  10. guys i know the r33 gt-s front brakes fit on to a r32 gts are the rear brakes the same my new one is 4 stud by the way and it's a 4dr
  11. hi mate, when you say GTR you open your wallet. um for a GTR probably a decent price as it is cramped in the eng bay, but in all seriousness you can do it at home if you got the tools. i did it my self on my r31 skyline. i first removed the bumber to provided access to were i was going to located the cooler (i located mine in front of the radiator) then i removed the oil filter and fitted the sandwhic plate. i then fited the cooler to the radiator (i had a PWR which had cable ties that went through the fins) i then ran the oil hose from the sandwhich plate to the cooler and cut to size. i then removed the sandwhich plate and fittted the hoses and reinstalled. i then conected the hoses to the cooler. re fitted the oil filter started the car up and made shore there were no leaks (may pay to use some gasket glue to safe gard agaenst leaks) then re fitted the front bar. mate i would also recermend you installing a remote oil filter at the same time to make changin the filter a lot easer. most kits come with every thing to mount might just have to buy some extra hose hope this helps mate
