cool sandown agan loved that track last time. will come depending on the car still needs to be tuned first.

reqs a ns2 cam licence. altho can be have on the day. would like to go but need the car tuned first

dont worry about the noise level. my r31 is at 130db @ 4000rpm and they haven't kicked me off yet. and with the 80% rule thier is userly a few cars (apx 30 or so) on the track at one time so you cant go 100% as you might have some slow person in front of you. go do it tho for $25 + fuel (me $140 for the day) it's worth it

they will be legal to my knowlage so long as you have the following contected, pcv hose, o2 sensor, afm (basicly dont touch any hoses that are on the intake pip and you should be fine. i got done buy a gop once for my pod told my boss the next day (was defected) and see it's legal casue all emission controlls were conected.

just wondering what people think of dr drift as he's the only place atm that can tune my nistune computer (wheni get it in two weeks), was also wondering how much it would cost for a tune. car is a 31 with rb30e has 2.25 exhaust (straight through) exstractors k&n pod nis tune computer custom cam with 280 dec duration adj cam gear it will have a base map to suite the car to start of with. any advise on dr drfit will be grate

yea im in a good date would be on a satday as most people will have to work friday. maby early next year would be good, give people time to prep and save money for the day. hopefuly the new set up will be installed by then

well if you read the wheels mag they have the first excluseve on the new R35 GTR. and i dont wont it. a 60 deg v6 with 345kw non etesa non manual looks like a commondore (imo) non straight six and is useing thermos from what i could gather from the eng bay pic. i didn't read throught the full artical but apparatnly does 7.35sec min at nurburg (from memory) any way gone is a true GTR the new one is built for the street not the track (as drive (herald sun) reports)

i would have to dissagree with you mate. take a r34 GTR strip it to a bone build the eng to 550H with a 3L bottom end and tune it and you should beat a v8 supper car most days as the responce from the turbos would most likly out class the v8 and dont for get 4wd v rwd

do you watch the perdormance car races its pretty much production car raceing. thier is the hsv clbbie v evo 9 and i tell you the evo holds it's own apart from the power diffrence. so i would dare say a tuned gtr for race will kill a v8

dont worry mate i dont matter if you have auto or manual car. ive being driveing a auto skyline for the past 2.9 years. i should come on a weekend a level two course. and at $185 fearly cheep considering what your doing. only down side may not have the car ready with the new mods that will be done over xmas.

according to thier web site they are nnly makeing them for the rb25 eng + some i may be wrong but thats what i read

hey mate had a look however the system is not suited to the R31 so thats out.

so all i should have to do is wire up the few wires required as i have a stage 2 chip all ready soldered in (soket type) look's like i might give it a try then defently should be easy to use from what your saying. so if i had it then was to add a custom cam xf throtal body GTR injectors and gtr fuel pump i could do all the tuneing my self. sounds good esperly for $400

hey mate thanks for that, thats first company iv'e seen make a reprogramable ecu for the rb30. and for only $400. can you tell how youve found the ecu so far, and who would be able to tune it, and how easy it is to use compared to other ecus'

hey guys im after some info on what ecu to get for the 31. ill have the following. 2.25" exhaust exstractors k&n pod custom crow cam adj cam gear 440cc injectors (gtr) GTR fuel pump. im getting a price on a links plus and a mate of mine is getting a autotronic (i think or its the one that sounds like motec) yea any advice would be good i dont mind what type of ecu as long as it dont cost me the earth.
