just make shore you have nothing losse in you car when you go on a track. basicly same rules as the Friday night drags down at calder. also John why not just put a helmet on your doughter, i would if it were my kid, cause you don't know what some one else will do. better to be safe then sorry i would say.

yes i have never being to a d1 drift event, but its what i see on tv and read in magerines that makes me lose intest in the sport. i would rather see it promoted as a race rather then a show event. (i.e focus on smoke and angle).

sorry to say guys but i have heard that you now req (in most states) an engineers cert if you fit coil overs. i.e they are now illegal. heard this on R31 skylineclub.com http://forum.r31skylineclub.com/index.php/topic,79654.0.html read down a bit and you will see the post were i got my info from.

mate i haveread up on the upcomeing laws and thats my understanding of them unless you can correct me. i have had to read them as i to am a p-plater. well if you wont something cheap get a stock r31 as little as 1k and still has a RB in it.

hey read the first post. have you consided n/a imports like the n/a skylines from R31 to 34 and also supras, yes there are n/a supras. also the new rules wont affect you as you have your licence before the date of the new laws, it only affect people who get there licence after the date.

saved up 5k in 1 year while at school. then started my appreticeship in auto mech, while working at a dealership i spoke to the used car guys and said if they had any thing up to 5k (i.e stuff they wernt going to put on the lot) to let me know and on the week before xmax my r31 came along for 3k and on the 24 i brought it. payed in full. and now have spent apx 9k on it. advise to any new/ young guys buying a car, pay for it in full and get a n/a.

i agree with what every one is saying, drift altho young does not have an image and there is no were, were you can learn. there was a school in QLD but it got shut down by the goverment caused it was believed to be teaching hoon driving. the only thing i dont like about the oz drfit scean is the way the race are done. there is more emphisie from what i understand on smoke and angle then there is in beating your opponet. the 2nd point i dont like is that they only 4-5 corners to race, why not use a whole track and have the guys race 1 lap and the first accross the line wins, a bit like in Inital d. it would then be more consided a proper race and not a judge event, which i think puts most motor raceing fans who dont know drfit off.

have you tryed plaing around with tyre pressures and suspention settings. that might the main problem. your tyre is wearing on a single area insted of the whole tyre

they probably just copyed the body work cause it also made apreances at car shows. but if you get the specal edition dvd of 2f2f and use the info things (cant rember what there called but they come up during the movie) when you first see the r34 leaving the garage (to go the race) it pops up saying that pual walker owns the R34 and it cost him $110000. dont know tho if it was inc the mods or just for the car.

paul walker got his R34 before 2f2f and used it in the movie.

why not get a desial. i.e citron c4 or golf desial. fuel econermy is around the 4l/100km area but i dont think there is many around 13k. and not to shore on relierbility but i believe the golf should be good

why not get a R31 skyline, only a RB30 with less then 100rwkw but still a skyline
