    Ztuned R34?

    yep andonly 19 were made this backs up my state ment earlyer about a apx 375kw from the z tune On 14 January 2005, Nismo resurrected the R34 GT-R for one last tour of duty before the introduction of the anticipated next generation GT-R. Labeled as the R34 Z-tune, the Nismo engineers spared no expense into making this car the most powerful road-going GT-R ever created. With much technology borrowed from the GT500 Racing GT-Rs and endurance racing GT-Rs, the Z-tune boasts a 2.8 L twin turbo instead of the stock 2.6 L engine, racing pistons, connecting rods and camshafts, and an upgraded ECU, giving the Z-tune 500 hp (370 kW) and 540 N·m (400 ft·lbf) of torque. The car became affectionately known as the "Mother of all GT-Rs" and is expected to carry a price tag of $170,000 US dollars.   2. just a quicky guys. as most of you have probably reslised im going to do a r33 gtst brake up grade. i was going to buy r33gtst calipers + DBA 4000 sloted discs with race baks 74 pads- disc and pads done less then 10000km (the guys after $600) i have now being offered R32 GTR calipers for $350 (have also being told that they are lighter then gtst) so which should i get the GTR calipers and buy new disc and pads (disc will set me backk $171 each for r33gtst) or buy the r33gtst set up for $600 chears brentt

  6. yea go manual 2.25" exhaust exstractors k&n chip computer nos shoter diff gears i.e 3.9 or 4.11 cam cam gears. rb30e block should be decent enough
  7. so you wont a bigger n/a hey. well nuthing beats displacement so why not go and get an RB30E and put a rb25de head on it. this should be good for around 130wrkw and plenty of tourqe. should be pritty simple to bolt in the rb30e block and then get the head wired up. aslo witht he rb25/30 you will need to get the rb25de pistons to have the right comp ratio and if you deck the block i believe it is .74 thou you will have a 12:1 compratio. this in my opinion would be the best path to travel and then if you wont to go turbo all you do is pop in some turbo pistons (get rb25det head if planing to do so) and wack on a tubro of u'r choice. hope this helps brentt
  8. i read in to day hearald sun cant rember page. but a owner of a 1km airstrip out a cassy is willing to allow drag raceing on it. he has put his request forword to the council and says that all is req is some safty barriers and then cars can start raceing. poilce have also welcomed the idea. man this would be good esperly for the people down south and maby we could do 600m runs. i say well done to the guy.

  11. and you never can beet the sound of a n/a 6 or even better an 8. i think one of the best sounds ive heard on the road is a worked 5L v8 carby.

  15. the shell v-power raceing (100 octane) was good im my 31 even being lightly moded still noticed a diffrence. its good use it just rember it cost more.
  16. I am in the same boat ive done it and now relise that it is not cool or safe to street race, i my self was almost involved in a crash. all take this as a warning and go to calder on a friday night. not the roads. R.I.P.

    Ztuned R34?

    tryed to find the autosalon artical. but from memory they said the r34 z tune was caperble of a 10.4 sec 1/4 and something like 550ps (dont know how many kw). but in a later issue were the z tune was on a dyno at some were i think autosalon it put out 375awkw's. any body able to conferm this.

  19. hey guys im aftert the following item to do a R33 brake up grade on my r31 skyline. R33 GTS-T claipers, disc (if not std) master cyl HR31 struts or R31 GTS struts im located in plenty in vic. 3090 so if you can give me price and postage cost that would be grate. woul prefer a pm thanks brentt
  20. antoher funny point,for the p-platers its red and green like in nsw and act however vic does not have these and people still are rateing p-platers in vic with either red or green p's
  21. altho i havent done much with turbos i would probably say no. lets see why- 10.1 comp plus 7psi it could wrek your eng quickly even if it last for a year. one of my friends did a turbo swap on a rb30e and he had problems. (and ran 17 sec 1/4). if you are going to go turbo wack some turbo pistons in then the comp ratio will be right and you can run the turbo as hard as you please. but personaly stay n/a and work from there. im guessing you have a r33 rb25de why not but a rb30e bottom end on it. cheep and a good powergain. (power ranges from 120rwkw to 140rwkw) and then you can have somefun that way.
  22. I was shocked when i noticed a silver nissan s13 coupe passing me on the left, i counted 9 people piled into this car. I cannot understand how this was possible saw this web site being splashed around by TT as a way to monitor HOON'S, i have had a look at the sight and its a bit doge, i.eref quote above. have a look and say what you think. but 9 peoples in a S13 thats a bit off me thinks,you could fit 9 in to my 31.
