  1. Yeah, my mates got a monza ssqv replica. I liked it, was a bit sh!t quality in the build but it does the job so what the hey.
  2. Yep, that's the one. As far as i know whoever owns the car lives about just up the street from me. Nice looking car i have to say. And i love the plates hehe.
  3. From here id say it looks like an Alpine Dual-DIN H/U...the bottom bit of it has a similar style to the single din alpines.
  4. Haha, i love the steering wheel.
  5. Mmm, that does seem a bit dodgy...maybe a scam?
  6. Mmm, id still love that e-mail if possible, [email protected]
  7. Cams will depend upon application, but SK has said before that Tomei PONCAMS (256/260) are timed perfectly out of the box and a noticeable improvement should be seen across the entire rev range.
  8. Screw MS, i felt sorry for alonso but, i loved the finger at RS, anyway, button did well aswell.
  9. The Tomei turbos look interesting but how much would they cost?
  10. A well tuned rb20 with a 2530 could make 220rwkw, but as already said, they seem to be making around 200rwkw. It depends how far you want to go really, a tune can make or break a combination so it is quite important. Im pretty sure that alot of those RB20's making 200kw off of a 2530 are running stock ecu (correct me if im wrong about this) so a PFC should be able to extract more power out of it.
  11. I was in the car with my dad a while back, he had a new BA Falcon, as we were driving along, heard a big clunk, but we thought it was just a branch as it was quite windy that day and there was debris all over the road. Eventually the power steering went, the battery light came on, it wouldnt idle, everything was phucked. Turns out the idler pulley had come clean off and caused the rest of the drive belt to get shredded up!
  12. yeah, as long as the turbine is flowing most of the gas a smaller wastegate would be fine...in fact better than i bigger w/g. it does depend on some other things though.
  13. I know a few canadian ladies here in Sydney, and phwoar...nice stuff, i hope you shall be sampling the originals over there! (unless you have a significant other, in which case, bad luck )
  14. Yeah it's been posted a few times, but i gotta say, everytime i see that car...:whackit:
  15. Lower tyre pressure, better tyres, better rear suspension setup...these things usually lead to a better launch. Also why dont you try and launch without traction control limiting your revs, will give you more control and more chance to find a perfect launch point.
  16. yeah thats what i thought, looks very nice ...all it needs is a big front mount to fill the void :bananaman:
  17. If possible id like pictures of a green kit and some more information (payment/money/postage to sydney etc.) to [email protected]
  18. what front bar is that?
  19. Im no expert but id estimate that the .87 housing would probably suit you the best...the 1.12 would be too big and .69 would strangle top end and probably come on boost to hard.
  20. To put it simply, bigger A/R = more flow and more power but at the cost of response/more lag. A smaller A/R turbine will spool a turbo quicker but at the cost of power. Matching a turbine A/R will most depend on the flow of the engine (size) and power target.
  21. Hands down, when i saw that car a while back, it has since been, and will be truly hard to top, as my favourite car. Silk Smooth Sex on wheels.
  22. Yeah, first time seeing this thread, i wouldnt mind a few.
  23. mmm, i cant wait to see the results of HKS's bolt on supercharger kit, should be interesting.
  24. I'd have to say an impreza aswell, maybe an RS, one down from the WRX. Otherwise an SP20 would go alright, maybe an Integra Type-R (DC2, they were locally delivered werent they?).
