  1. If i remember correctly, Bomex sideskits and rear pods and a 400R front bar, looks very nice.
  2. With that said though, it may be handy to have an exhaust cam gear as RB25's tend to gain quite a bit through retarding a few degrees...this along with a full turbo back (inc. dump/front, cat etc.) 3" exhaust would be enough for anyone with a stock turbo gts-t.
  3. Thanx mate! Pretty much exactly what i was looking for, even had the bronze colour which i was very interested in...i must say that car looks very tough and very clean, a nice example skyline. Anyone have any idea a set of these rims would cost, i am aware they will be quite expensive.
  4. Would anyone happen to have any pics of a skyline(s) with Volk TE37's? That or any sites with pics of them, doesnt really matter what model 'line i just want to get a general idea of what they look like on one.
  5. I love how they concentrate on the ethnic minorities, asain, black, hispanic...isnt it just great of McDonalds to market their food this way.
  6. The link is broken now, and i really wanna see it...
  7. Yeah they are, the car was in an article i read once, from what i remmember it the GT-R owner got stuck in the middle of a bad situation and got pharked.
  8. Haha fair enough... as long as your not paying for the home theatre it aint so bad.
  9. Yeah i reckon living at home is one of the best ways to increase your chances of being able to afford a skyline by the time your 20ish. Food and bills are paid for and if your parents do make you pay rent it would be at a rate a helluva lot better than if you moved out. And as Villainous_J said, it cant hurt having a free pool table and home theatre (and good computer and net connection to add to that) to waste your time on. As long as you do this and work/study hard, it will pay off ultimately.
  10. Any pics would be appreciated. Email Me
  11. I reckon Cartel and Battery are good ones.
  12. What would be the best size intercooler for a moderately tuned gts-t (RB25) running a 2530 or similar size turbo? And is it best to get a custom job or buy brand name, i.e. a HKS 'cooler kit?
  13. *Waits for some replies to the Supra-Sporting Yank*
  14. If the inspection checks out ok then it seems like a good deal, especially if you can haggle them down a bit further. Considering its a late '93 and the 2 year warranty and the (if it is actually correct) relatively low clock pretty nice find i'd say.
  15. Ooohhhh, those Hyper Gold rims would look nice on it...otherwise the Titanium Silver's would look good aswell.
  16. yeah i was wondering that...
  17. As i was saying, the GT-R was made and marketed basically as more of a racecar...and the Supra as a cruisy sportscar. Of course the GT-R will beat the Supra in every way when talking on a race track or from a deadstart down the 1/4 mile. So in the end it comes down to what you specifically mean. If the question asker wanted to know what car is the ultimate on the track and 1/4 (assuming they are stock) then a GT-R would win hands down. On the other hand It would be a personal opinion on which looks and feels better because those traits are formed in an individuals mind. It would be unfair to just dismiss the Supra because of the fact it is 0.63 seconds slower round tsukuba or is .9 secs slower down the 1/4. Personally i love both of the cars and it would depend on the situation for which one i would consider 'Ultimate'.
  18. What is this 'Bigger Turbo' you speak of?
  19. I head that as a general rule of thumb between 20-30% Drive line loss is usually apparent in most vehicles. So if you wanna convert rwkw to engine kw then your rwkw figure would be about 75-80% of your engine figure i.e. 75-80rwkw = 100kw etc.
  20. I'm lovin the R34 wing on it, looks sweet as.
  21. Yeah Skyline in general is better for racing, but so it should be, its got race heritage and a racecar look. On the other hand the Supra was produced more as a 'Sportscar' for highspeed highway cruising and smooth (with stock turbos) suburban driving. It just happens to be very very quick for quite a small price. I must admit you would get a bit mislead if reading about Supra's on the net simply because most of the information about them is from the US. The locally delivered US model has more power than its JDM twin and in general is easier to tune (i.e. before doing more major upgrades, single turbo's etc.). Personally it would depend what i wanted the car for. If i had the choice and i wanted a sexy, fast and extremely cool cruisin' car (just look at that c0ckpit-like interior!) i'd go a Supra. But if i wanted something more of a weekend track warrior and day to day quick car with presence and heritage i'd go a GT-R. Apart from that most of what everyone has said so far is true in terms of validity and personally i just cant decide which car is 'ultimate' in my opinion.
