Over the diff is pretty hard to do in 3 inch... unless you crush it a bit to make it 'Oval' If you can get some pics that would help for later on!

From memory the turbo injectors dont have a resistor pack... (I think most of the work is done by the 3x injector drivers in the ECCS computer) I'll look on the wiring diagram for you.

AHH I remember this one! Probably 5 or 6 years ago, I think 'Rob' was the owner/builder. He had somethign to do with aircraft engineering at Morabbin Airport. Was supposed to be mental quick, traction issues in 3rd gear in the dry even. AN excellent base for a fast project car.... sigh......

I can give it a 'rebuild' for you if you like... (disassemble housings, soak in acid bath overnight, pressure wash/rinse/ soak in WD40) Will look as good as new!!

SAU classifieds records a white SR powered pulsar a few years ago, sold by 'Ken' in the ACT.... Ive found records of 5 modified ones over a few forums (boostloosing etc) in our area.... but most contacts are a few years old.

I noticed a big difference to steering once I used poly castor bushes... especially braking whilst cornering. Front end was more direct and predictable, not swaying and shunting around over every bump... Good stuff!! Poly sway bar link bushes are a good thing to look for too.... (plus a R31 skyline or Pintara sway bar... not sure which to get currently)

Ben, Can you provide additional info regarding: Alloys (black with chrome lip? grey? white etc) Sedan or Hatch Did it sound like iut had a cannon/exhaust system? Any other distinguishing details?

For L series engine modification , and being Syd based? http://www.swmotorsport.com.au/ If you want something very very decent (as in best in Australia) Les Collins & Peter McDonnell Race Engines have just recently built a L34 (Yes, 3400cc L6) and it would cost alot, but in a car like this, I reckon it deserves it. 350HP at the flywheel (260kW) at 7000rpm.... I just remembered the Ashford built FJ24 in Perth, had 420kW with a 6 speed toyota gearbox. I made an offer of $10k and they said sure, but I couldnt come up with it in time THey now moved to the states and build Nascar crate engines....

N/A quads on FJ sound insane.... but a turbo FJ has low compression doesnt it?

Im sure that the shafts fit, but the A-arms are different (sway bar mounts, handbrake cables and mounts, adjustable bits here and there) I had a few and measured them up, by eye they could be made to fit, but unsure if theres any benefit?? An entire R33 rear end would be interesting though....
