  1. Ahhh... the saga continues.
  2. My mate in Melbourne and myself used to have a few, he got a Jaguar monster once, but couldnt afford to feed it 10 bucks of neons every day! i have a few in my bothers tank in Brissy, canberra is too cold!
  3. Well not as expected. Scratch that last post
  4. SOLD!! more info to come.....
  5. you wont get tripples in there legally as they wont pass the emissions for that year of car. EFI turbo is easy, just need to collect the parts. RB conversion isnt too hard, same for VG30det bottom line is to decide what you want the car to do, and aim for a power figure, then budget to suit. HP costs $$$ theres no other way around it. There are no off the shelf bodykits except for Jenesis Japan, and ADThree and a few other 'exotic' Jap companies. The R31 kits that URAS make can be shortened/modified to suit. Costs a f**k load though. Engine wise, tell us you power figure and we'll tell you how to get there. My personal optinion is get an RB30e freshned up and slot that in. very easy to do. could easily be done for under $1000 and will outrun any L24e there is. unless its turbo!
  6. Start a new thread scrotate and we'll answer you there!
  7. I had a spare but threw it out.
  8. gawd.... just go into repco and ask for the filter kit, its like under $30 oil, depends on the km of the engine, and what your plans are. ask the repco dude...
  9. Possible see you at the track day at Wakefield park in a few weeks????v details in the NSW section
  10. Goot Idea Ya!!!! I wish you alll a merry weekend
  11. holybatf*k what is a LY28?
  12. there are a few non-factory Lseries heads. they chopped 3x KA24de heads and welded/dowled them together then re-machined. made insane power, but broke a few other things
  13. R34 (chris?)was keen for some
  14. stock engine still, boosting in the next few weeks. (need to get tome silicone and clamps, and exhaust shop visit for welding)
  15. My elderly skyline.... the wheazy one. 1984 RMR30 Skyline Ti. L24e with 52 rwkW.... 225x 16 all round, awesome handling for a thing that weighs 1280kg and has IRS and 4 wheel disks!
  16. Hey Jon, you got that nissan fever mate! First time I have seen a wagon with the S3 front on it, liiks SHMICKO! And that C210 has changed hands like 4 times in the last year or so hey? i got most of what was under the bonnet here in my garage (thanks to silent shadow) The DR lookes like it will be a pearler, good stuff! (I am going iron mask front, but standard bonnet...)
  17. VL commo / RB30et injectors are 270cc (give or take 15%) Your best bet is Mazda RX7, ghostrider has put them in his FJ20, i think they are 370cc? shoot him a pm? or check his build thread?
  18. farken LOL..... "...yeah, i got heaps of chicks chasing arfter me ayye... they like TRENT! GIVE ME BACK MY PURSE.... and im like just f**ken relax ayye...." I see it from mr G's point of view. for average joes, 270 per light is a joke, BUUUT to caz, an avid collector and fan of all things nissan, that small outlay is easily justifyable. just think of someone who really loves a certain brand/make etc, they buy it cos its valuable to THEM.....
  19. f**king tail lights... who needs some?
  20. that mileage is the average (last 3 Ive had did that) premium is better, i get 80km a tank extra the Bosch ECU realy realy SUCKS BALLS. its a BASIC clock circuit that opens and shuts injectors in a certain timing. fully SHIT. but reliable. doesnt take big mods without tinkering.
  21. well I have some high profile 225/55/R16's on the rear, so i actually reckon there was POSITIVE camber! now it seems more normal. definitly more grippppp
  22. I sold my last supply of L24e inject's for $20 each, sold 8 in one hit... I will have 4 spare pretty soon (within the next 2 months), as Im upgrading to turbo spec ones.
  23. OK... today I replaced the rear suspension. now lowered with Bilstein Struts and Progressive rate spings, sourced from Japan via a few hands in oz OMG. It made a HUGE difference to the handling. in powering out of corners it just stays stable and grip is eleventy million times better. previously it was: turn, roll, throttle on, slide, throttle off, correct angle now it: turn, throttle on. hold on and SMILE.....
  24. I reckon if the TPS is buggered it will make the car only rev to 1500 to 2000 rpm. another thing worth looking at is the water temperature sensor, that actually goes to the ECU. if it is buggered, or the wiring is corroded it will not read the engines warm temps, thus thinking its 'cold' and dumping fuel in. And another culprit is the cold start injector. is a separate injector that operates on startup only, if its stuck open it will be dumping HEAPS of fuel down. that nasty thing can really cause problems....
  25. WhaT else is needed to apply this to interior plastics>?
