    I reckon the gunmetal grey on the inner parts, then a few coats of clear over the lot to protect the polished bits especially. if you did them green , the next owner of the rims may not be too keen...harhar!

    To be honest, I couldnt sell my mint Hatchback for $2000 last year.... Ive seen, as well as BOUGHT examples such as this for a MAX of $400. Its a rusty series 1 poverty pack, lucky to get $200 for it. HOWEVER.... There are some parts that catch my eye! Anyone else keen on parts???

    the R31 lights may go for $20 each... theres a few thousand of them out there.... The R30 lights go for more, as theres only like less than 50 forsale world wide

    finished my cornflakes! AND I can confirm there are 4 types of hotplates. 2 i the series 1, and 2 in the series 2 Series 1: red circles moulded into red outer cover red circles moulded into black outer cover Series 2: red circles moulded into grey inner section with clear cover red circles moulded into black inner section with clear cover (see ebay... one going for 130 USD)

    RB30 could be done in a day i reckon. plus its probably cheaper than any mod to the L24e too!

    omoto make coilover adaptors to suit nissan strut tubes, about $250 a pair then coilover springs are about $80 a pair fairly adjustable setup actually... google diy coilovers

    you can get standard shocks that are adjustable. just cos they are adjustable doesnt mean they are coilovers. if you want coilovers, use the search function. you will find that the S13 silvia coilovers are useable. quiet a few extra parts needed though. its been asked 100 times before. if youre real clever you can make your own...

    Another possible mod, a bit back yarder though. a really basic water injection setup, that comes on when on WOT or near to. ive seen a CA20e that could take another 5 deg of timing with water injection, basically a metal nozzle just in front of the throttle body. needs to be fairly misty, no droplets. much used on turb setups too. but yeah this old gazelle hammered on the gravel and went heaps better with water!

    Man, ive seen less damaged ones like that, and it was cheaper to just get a whole new R31... congrats on the parts find though! if you got time, are you able to post me the crank angle sensor cable (20cm) and plug? its 4 or 5 pin, facing upwards on the base of the dissy. theres an old fella with serious problems with his plug, wont make good conductivity in the mornings or when at idle. let me know how much your after...

    Ive got pics of the early type that are black with red circles, if they arent factory i can only assume they were altered, like night shades or similar painted on with the circle section taped off... CBF'd looking for them though, too busy forking down these cornflakes... nom nom nom
