Factory 5 replied to Daewoo's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
one option is to use 2 sets of calipers on each side, a bit complex though second option is hydraulic handbrake setup for the rears will get the back end swingin! disk rear only of course! Garage7 in Adelaide make them to suit . about $300 and VERY strong http://www.garage7.com.au/ but the web page is down Address: Unit 2 33 Light Crescent Mount Barker SA 5251 Phone: Workshop (08) 8398 3107 Declan 0421 878 818 Luciano 0433 767 447 Web: www.garage7.com.au [email protected] or by PM Cheers, Declan -

Hey davo, yes everything is all dude.... you speak my langualge@! another tip for radiator fitment, something I was quite keen to do. theere is a N13 pulsar that is NOT aus made, so the jap version. the radiator is a 3 core copper, the hoses are in the right location for the L series too. the thing is its width (left to right) is narrower than the stock item, it leaves about 20cm on the passenger side. in this area I wanted to get a sheet of stainless and fill up the gap, but use it for the 2 intercooler pipe holes, and the cold air intake hole. strap a thermo fan onto the rad to keep temps normal, would do a pretty good job, i spoke this through with a ralley engineer a few years ago and he says its a great idea as teh cooler piping will be super short.

What Are Dr30 Hot Plates Really Worth?
Factory 5 replied to D-limo's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
at that price . $200 to $250 GRAB em. its a buyers market, but also really low supply. dont turf out your old ones either. theyre still goood for track, or re-sell to another fanatic! there was a point in time where i would of bought anything... there are 3 stlyes for hotplates red S1, grey S1, and clear S2 S2 are the shiz ps that stone tray i had for ya was ratshit, sorry i dint let you know -
Giveway, mate there are PLENTY of shite 30/31's around, no wonder you havent seen any real good ones! imagine this, in the early 80's nissan was making HUGE technological investigations ino atessa, turbos, hicas, and alot of what we see today. The DR30 was the first car to have the atessa system built, it was on prototypes only The FJ20det was an insane engine for its time, 205hp or similar from a factory 2litre was unheard of back then in Australia, as Cazz will show us, the DR30 was a RIPPER at the track There are similar external size features with the R31, but inside and what not the 30's and 31's are pretty much completely different cars. the Aussie R31 really isnt a true skyline, as it was made HERE and not Factory 5 in japan. Tag along with us th Skyline Nationals where this year ALOT of R30's will be flying their flags... Im really understanding when you say you not keen on them, perfectly understandable. Only a small handfull are actually any good. i might be needing a detail too, so feel free to have a blap around the street when you do... ( i have driven it in anger for the last 3 years, done 40,000 km and still cant break it, and believe me Ive tried!)

oh yeah! the balance of these things is unreal... very jealous!

im looling for 15"s ans 16"s tyres. the existign set of rims i have are getting VERY low, infact im doing my best to not drive until i get grip. there are some 15" stocko skyline rims (r31 i think) that i had my eye on, your tyres would be perfect for them.

I Just Bought An R31 Silhouette
Factory 5 replied to coupe72001's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
http://motamota.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?board=11.0 but i think you need to be signed up. there is HEAPS of so called 'members' trading in there, they are trying to slow down the influx of the calaisturbo.com muzzas etc... lol -
understood, all clear. an RB30e is a very affordable and easy conversion. (if theres such thing) I was almost going to buy an old SR20 Pulsar for khana'ing, they are one of my favorite fun-boxes will let you know how things go...

I Just Bought An R31 Silhouette
Factory 5 replied to coupe72001's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
There are PLENTY of shite bags here to pillage parts from http://motamota.r31skylineclub.com/index.php?board=26.0 there is a parts section too. very common to see a slapper go for $500. number one rule though, im sorry guys, but do not buy anything from south australia, there are so many dodgey sellers ther its near impossible to moderate. if they are a well-known member then go for it, but still take it easy -
its worth a try, the hoses will need a section or 2 added to make it all fit.

Oh great another skyline forum hero we have to educate... Go back to nissan school kid before you hurt yourself on ebay. And careful where you swing that 'brain damaged' slogging, as that sir, is TOO FAR. -
Not a bad price either... check these ones out too: ebay R30 (1) ebay r30 (2) ebay r30 (3) there are more for sale now than i have ever seen in my life... pity none are quality though!

Trying To Sell My 240k C110
Factory 5 replied to HGC110's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
It seems to be put together with a good mix of parts, im actually impressed with the power figure for it too. If I was loaded, or had a few spare grands, it would be a great daily driver while the R30 gets its makeover for the skylien nationals! If this is still in S.A. in September it shoudl come join us methinks -

Trying To Sell My 240k C110
Factory 5 replied to HGC110's topic in Classic & Vintage (1950's-1980's)
power fc needs a crank angle sensor of some desription, like a turbo dissy or a big chopper wheel on the crank. or even a missing tooth on the flywheel VL turbo injectors would run this no-probs, they are like 260 cc or so(give or take) stock ecu can be tricked to a certain extent, if it works then keep it! dont fix what aint broke! looks like a nice setup... makes me want to get up and do more on mine now. -
