  1. they just need shortening at the last bend before the pipes go horizontal sound wikid though....
  2. Search on ebay for MQ L28 Patrol Extractors they pop up all the time http://cgi.ebay.com.au/MQ-Patrol-L28-Extra...=item27ad04587d http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Patrol-MQ-L28-Extra...=item255747e0eb I scored a set of Genies for $100 of a wreck, they needed a few small adjustments but fit fine...
  3. PM me your details Michael, I can help you out. Im in Canberra too
  4. NA cam is fine for turbo, but a turbo cam isnt for NA $150 is very good price out of the US, I wish i knew that before i paid $350 for this one! Will set aside the electrics and update later... so friggin hot here 35 deg, need more hydration!
  5. had a Hypergear Tr43 on stainless highmount manifold, at 11psi we made 190rwkw, that was with a shit homemade restrictive dump pipe! darkhalf ECU VLturbo injectors monza intercooler easiest conversion is get the VL turbo stuff and bolt on. ebay has a setup for $400
  6. I got 2 turbo manifolds here, one for me, one for sale! $300 and its yours. Infact got a complete MR30 Hatch im wrecking (another one) if you want me to keep anything off that let me know, its getting FULLY STRIPPED tomorrow, ready to take the carcass to the crusher!
  7. farken lol.... CA18s woulda been SHIT
  8. HAHA! didnt take long! I have a spare VG30 turbo and some other stuff available
  9. Cams are very different from N/A to Boosted A Turbo cam will make youre N/A run like shit, especially if youre useing the factory ECU. Save the money. Get the turbo first!!! If youre careful a turbo setup can be run on low boost, with the factory ECU That would be the way to go first, then save over time for the ECU p1ggyback. Microtech MT4 can be found for $200 or so If youre after turbo gear, search ebay, this forum, Ozdat, wreckers, engine importers. The L28et stuff from the 280zx turbo will bolt STRAIGHT ON
  10. Holy shit.... What a find!!! just like the fella who got SVD GTS2 #001 of 200....
  11. What would you be asking if it came as a package, DR30 fronts, brakes and hubs etc if available? Strut Brace Strut Tops
  12. The engine management is the main restriction mate. Even if you do all that stuff hardly any real gain will be had unless there is an after market copgyback like a microtec MT4 or full ECU replacement. If youre keen enough the RB30 gear can be used, from an R31 Skyline, it is re-mappable via nistune. lotsa mucking about though another idea is the Delco 808 setup that runs the Holden Camira, dont laugh it is HEAPS better than the Bosch shit... Requires heaps of fiddling and research mate.... cheapest bang for buck is bolt the turbo gear on, get a copgyback ecu, all can be done for under $1000 If i could start over, I would likely convert to RB30e very cheao and easy to work on, and can boost real good too. Use the search feature a bit more too
  13. Im not sure these ever got approved for import due to being UNDER the power to weight level. But could maybe snuck through the previous rules...
  14. Got stuck at work till 7pm then took the missus to Ringwood to book into the hotel... Back in Canberra roasting away
  15. Im not in Melb anymore, been in Canberra since December!
  16. lol.... Need more info kristian, location perhaps? Jenesis make a mean front bar, could be possible for the right dollars here in Aus
  17. "eating own shit" refers to the EGR system, Exhaust Gas Recirculation Which actually varies between different setups, but sometimes the engine can make MORE power with the EGR gear left on. The exhaust does still contain some unburnt fuel/air mixture. enough for some turbo engines to NOT have the need for extra fuel enrichment on boost. An interesting read: http://www.autospeed.com/cms/A_110577/article.html
  18. Please get plenty of pics!
  19. I would do what Ghostrider has done, He has the PNV KHR30 as a showpiece/cruiser with good power to boot, and then the old DR30 he scored for under 4 grand, and done some effective mods getting it track worthy, the thing is if he prangs the DR30 race hack, its not a massive loss.If the PNV got pranged, it would likely become a national day of mourning and countless dollars attempting to return it to its former glory... My suggestion, look at a track only vehicle. There is PLENTY of options out there, dont think of bulk killawasps but power to weight and a balanced chassis the S13 Silvia can be put together for under 10 grand in a few weekends, and are cheap to fix/repair/upgrade R32's are becoming cheaper and they also are a great package once the suspension is sorted well. There are occasionally race only Lexus IS200 or whatever they are ,and they have some 2gtse BEAMS engine and fly along like a rocket. an S15 is a more refined package, but as a track only setup, I would put the later model SR20det into the S13 and go mental from there... OR trawl the net for months on end and maybe find another DR30 to rescue from some p plater drift nut wannabe in adelaide... hang on a sec! there is a big thread about one such thing just a month or two ago!
