im not sure, it was 4 or so years ago... but it seemed mental to them cos they built a heap of L18 powered 1600's and the occasional Z18et... now they do SR20det on a nearly monthly basis i took a ride in an evo they bult for rally events, bloody hell i nearly shit myself it accelerated so hard, and the brakes were that good i almost got winded!!! the sound of antilag blap blapblap BRROOOOOOOSHHHHH and 4 seconds later your at 100km/h and climbing i luv industrial estates!!!!

dont build one, just by one already there and modify it afterwards... A 260z with a 350kW 2JZ and SHITLOADS of mods was on ebay a few weeks back ad went for about 20k

The RED car with thr R31 GTS front bar is built by Randy at Nissco in Bayswater VIC It has a 2.2 liter, meaning bored out with bigger pistons, its NOT a 2.4, Call randy, say your interested in brining it back to VIC and he will sort you out, and let you know the story how its one of the only cars they had to chain down on the dyno cos as it came on boost so hard it wou;d try and jump off! I say go for it, I wanted it a few times myself.... it is built well and obviously can take it.

just try and think of what you can replace it with... for 3.5k there isnt too much out there, unless youre into excells or coronas!

MAG86 will bring the 52kW MR30 TI Liftback... Hopefully looking a bit nicer by then too, hotplates and lowwering FTW! (oh and maybe BOOST)

ebay car is history, leave it to the adelaide drifters.... carsales car is overpriced, built tough, complianced, registerable the works, but looks like SHITE and needs work... if youre prepared to pay that much good onya, but be prepared to give it some work as its had 3 owners in the last 3 years, all gave it some serious curry!!!

you will find plenty of R31's, especially around the $1000 mark, but not R30's as they are alot harder to find. even though I have owned 4 in the last 2 years only 1 of them are on the road and the other 3 were so shit they were long past registerable. sure you might find one, but be patient. I will let you know If i can find anything in your price range.

a mate has a completely separate pager alarm system with its own sealed lead acid battery, and full control up to 5 km away he has made a setting that he can lock the new occupants inside, disable the switches and everything inside so they cant get out (including winding the electric windows up) pity he wasnt mean enough to rig up a 130dB internal siren im thinking of haveing some sort of a hidden camera in the dash that records when a mercury switch that gets tripped or the interior lights or sudden jolt like smashed window

majchek you fool, as if 2 grand for an IMPORT R30... flamin engineers got no finance skills these days! FYI wogsrus is responsible for injecting me with R30 poison as a young CAD draftie all those years ago.... he still gots the fever! dave its still looking like I may move my hatch on in the near future... so keep me posted on progress

Im wrecking an R30 hatch here in Canberra, only 2 hrs away from sydney I can arrange transport no probs as I head out there at least every few months Has R180 setup, shafts, the works. You will need to source handbrake cables though and give the whole lot a good degrease and scrub...

Ive seen these go for $500... with rego! I had the Ti version, 2.4 litre import JDM engine, the luxury model, top shelf... It didnt even get a bite at $1500 It got parted out in the end, got $1100 all up

L20et engines are so crap no-one in Australia would be interested at all.... Its the turbo sump/manifolds/management/ and associated parts that are in demand dont waste your time with the head or block...
