  7. woah,,,,, you gonna have a heap of fun trying to get all that!!! if it was 4 door it may be easier, as ther is one at the dapto pick a part wreckers (near woolongong) i was up there about 3 or 4 weeks ago, even had hotplates in the boot, all the chrome looked fine too they are pretty pricey though

  11. nick, the guy who had it years ago dropped in a L24e from a series 2 MR30 skyline his username was 'Neg' the sump comes standard with a flat section on the side for an oil return to be welded on the water line part is likely the part that heats up the idle control valve or throttlebody unfortunatlryeh its just a stocko L24e, but the head has been recoed a while back, new gaskets etc the rings are the buggered part... the reason it kept popping was the microtech fuel only ecu was what was contolling well only fuel... not ignition at all!, the dizzy didnt retard timing on boost, so ping ping away I will use the stock L20et gear, which is the 1st Nissan ECCS 'JECS' ecu setup, that does change timing, and fuel etc (but i will be useing the microtech as a piggyback for the minute)
  12. like a motec exhaust.... they are so loud man... not good for hangovers!
  13. helious knows what they are on about.... in the industry i suppose... drunk limping bludger out/
  14. for starters, im hammered and 2nd, you have a RB20de, like that would e above 90db? i guess you have a turbo exhaust su=ysteem maybe? but hey you are winning in the efficiency stakes, seriously a RB20de is excellent on fuel, period/ i cant really comment as i have a L24e, that gets 520km to a tank, and is so hard to work on, its like givin head to siamese twins i so drunk... someone shut me up
  15. this is my weekly drunken post. did about 45 min 'patrol' of the area came home, empty house, wnet to random party that had no males??? got really smashed on absolute vokea with raspberry. i so driunk. but the car will likely be stripped, ore re-painted, or left to hibernaet but the best thing is to get it interstate, like melb or syd (more likely melb) will be a good idea to notify the melb crew, post up a reward to incite some motivation. ok i better finish... geez a smashed individueal here right now.... blah, blah rant and rave... this deadmau5 fella rips some frantic beatz yo... good night
  16. see ya on the news... im going for a drive!!!!
  17. if they are legal, then there must be some sort of ADR testing done etc to prove if they are safe or not If they are, then great! Make sure you print off the ADR page with that stated andd keep in your glovebox for the day you might get pulled over I think i will spectate now, you can request admin to clean this thread up too...
  18. You are so lucky your thousands of km away. We are pretty laid back here, but f**k this thread has stirred up a shitstorm I think we all have to agree that car modification is in our own tastes and personal likes, and if some of us prefer safety to good looks then so be it, If some know that safety is more important, it only shows who has either more life experience or just a few more brain cells than the average p plater...
  19. this is a neat setup, does give the thieves a good look at it though
  20. hey there... is the engine farily standard?? any idea of power output?

  22. when i say R31 swaybar im referring to the aussie one, dime a dozen (not HR30, Jap one... harder to find) the swaybar should cost no-more than $20 you need the brackets and rubber bushes as they are a good 5mm or more thicker than the MR30 item
