  1. There is a GTS register on the R31club forum.... They often come up for sale up in QLD, one sold a while back for $2500, was a restroer though, had a redtop rb20det and other useless rubbish
  2. My little bro needs a 1st car, this would be perfect as he plays in a band! I'll ask him over the weekend
  3. I swear the question mark button on your keyboard is going to wear out one day!
  4. prob some pedders? I hear they still make a good product!

  8. None of my nissans are on the road mate, just spectating (well thats the plan...)
  9. $250 for the whiteline is crap.... get a R31 item, its already a few mm biger than the stock R30 swaybar. Normally can be had from wreckers for $20 or so. I had a big plastic tub of parts sent from Bris to Canb, cost $48, was about 19kg too. e-go freight or something.....
  10. Ah ok Alans one... Nice! I used to call it the Super Sleeper
  11. The red 4-door beast that was at Goulburn?
  12. What about we all bring a boot load of parts for a mini-swap meet? Ive got a heap of shi7 to clear out before moving house. I have heaps of headlights, S1 and S2 tail lights, suspensions, power steering bits, doors, 4-door window mechs (elec) I just an idea...
  13. Where in Tas are you located? Im grow up Hobart area, moved to mainland about 8 years ago Member on here 'chinna' is up Launceston way, Im pretty sure he MAY be able to help you Can you provide pics of damage? By far the cheapest option is to find a wreck and buy that for spare parts. Otherwise, actual individual parts like guards are getting very hard to find. Stock parts for replacement will be easiest and no experimenting or dodgying up required! If you have smished up your front headlights, I will send you a set and all you pay is postage. (from Canberra 2600 to your loc.) R31 Swaybar will fit, need to fiddle with the x-member mounts a bit and you'll be fine. There are a few dattos (liek 1600, and Stanza etc) that have very similar front end geometry, so you may be able to get a tension rod/castor bar from one of them.... bit of messing about finding it though!
  14. Def going sunday, spectate only (my rig aint regoed) prob bringing a esky and bevvies
  15. Hey let us know what you come up with!
  16. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Skyline-R30-81-86-Control-arm-lower-inner-F-/190513192391?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2c5b789dc7 Get some of these while youre at it too.... Oh and loctite the bolts, On a few R30's I have found the nuts were loose, one was missing!
  17. I have browns available too. some good quality vinyl dye could fix that
  18. They are awesome.
  19. Also forgot to add... factor in an injector replacement, the old ones are guaranteed to leak or be blocked. If they dont now, they will in time! Suitable hosetail types are best found on ebay US as they are used in a heap ofother cars there, and lots of smaller companies are licensed to reproduce original manufacturer parts (Lucas do a good one) They can still be had here in Aus, at twice the price. ($600 a set instead of $300)
  20. I think the Patrols were MID bowl sump... The mods are not hard to do with the 280z engine. Ive seen a L20b oil pickup used without much modification. for a dip-stick, a tube can be welded to the side of the sump bowl at a near vertical angle, then insert dip stick. Would take an hour to do if you had all the welding kit. The L24e ECU (which is rich as fk) will run the L28e engine, some AFM flap spring adjustment would make it a bit better. Just use the original L24e Loom (incl the cold start and idle stuff) Oh and there is a difference between the Manual and Auto distributors. (use according to your trans) If I had spare money when I had the Hatchback, It would of been a definite option. (now all the spare cash goes to car Rego and self funded education!)
  21. If the auto is the one with overdrive you can get a shift kit done on it (Model Ln71b or something) Also pretty easy to boost line pressure for quicker gear changes. Panles are VERY thin on the ground, best source is find another $400 roadside find and keep it for spare parts...
  22. Classic nissan rear squat! Made me smile....
  23. Im after a bonnet an Ti rims if it gets parted out
  24. Man for that much you could get a subaru wrx R180 lsd an shafts adapted to suit!
