got off my arse and installed the R31 rear suspension yesterday, took just under 30min! they seem to be similar ride height and stiffness the R31 struts look a bit shorter, but not too much im going to try and find the spring rates of the R31s, and then the R30, to see if theres any difference im thinking its just the struts im meant to use off the R31, not the R31 springs also got the old 16x7's sandblasted & powdercoated gloss black looks pretty tough! only problem is a tiny bit of scrape on the rears, so im looking at trying to bend up the lip about 10mm.... will see how i go

i was gunna suggest going on R31forum, but your already there! mu suggestion is get another coupe and transplant all ya good stuff into it

ive done a few back in victoria, in a mk1 swift gti, the thing was 600kg and 90kw at the fronts, was like a rollercoaster ride out the back of kinglake ( that burnt down) was a few roads that featured 100km bends and straights for about 11km, the most awesome drive in my whole life once the R30 is setup, i'd give it a whirl

there are laws pertaining to anything connected to a workable telecommunications line, its a very tricky thing to get around, but if i had it i wouldnt be telling anyone. the parts alone are less than $100, then just use prepaid or a really cheap plan...

Well I think it is a good excuse to get the cars out, so maybe have the "Timeline' concept going, then have the other 'supporters' tag on the end.... I have a rather nice 1984 MR30 hatch, one of the first EFI L24 powered skyliner, so I guess I'll be near the start of the line!
