  6. you'll notice an instant difference (well i did as everything is still stock)

Well the R31 brakets have an offset bolt spacing, so i used the R30 brackets... with the fat R31 bushes. the bushes stick out about 2 mm, but it all geta compressed down anyway. the 2 long bolts with space rod on each end was used from the R31 too, it was shorter than the R30 item.... cant remember why i used the short ones, i banged my head pretty hard on the sump!
  8. for sure.... im a bit worried now! I have all the gear to do a manual conversion, except the gearbox (well its 30km away still in a car) UPDATE.... on the weekend i put in a (25mm)R31 front sway bar in. it does bolt straigt in, no modifications. it also DOES make a BIG difference. In heavy/tight cornering ther isnt as much body roll as before, and also heavy brakign around corners is alot more predictable. handles great. i luv it. Have some R31 rear struts to go in soon, just need the time And got all the bits to make a rear strut brace, was a prototype fo a 2 door HR31 GTX, now needing a few bolts and she's done... ALSO did the 'tighten the AFM sprin to lean out the mixtures' trick. FARK ME it makes a huge difference, i was running rich as buggery before, i guess as over 25 years the spring tension has dropped a bit.so after tightenin it up about 3 clicks now the ol girl can brake traction in the dry... no joke. having fun... scored a L28et loom of fleabay, still to finalise the transaction as im after a few other bits too... Boosting will havta wait a bit.... bootcamp in 1 month! LAstly, got a HR31 Passage GT front grill, trimmed it sligtly on the mounting tabs at the back, but fits near perfectly.... scary actually how well it goes on!
  9. still have the vcalipers for ya, and a complete L24e going to the scrappers if you want it, and a L20et block & head.... and a E30 head... all going to scrap...

    Help Needed

    the guy across the street has a 80s pulsar Q, auto, good interior, ok white exterior has rego left on it, needs tyres, oil leak sealed up, engine steam clean and wipers for roady He's after $550.... if it was manual i would of bought it for a bush basher! located in ringwood/Wantirna (30km from city) very reliable... I also know of a MINT MR30 Skyline with rego and roady, real classic, Ti 'luxury' for the 1984 $3000 ready to go....

  15. you will need a HR or DR30 import 4 door rear glass, and all the associated bits. it is definitly possible, but really only way to do it is the factory bits from the imports.... lotsa mucking around thats for sure. it woud be easy to set up a small 'spoiler' in the top of the rear window that deflects the airstream downwards to blast te water away.... alot easier i woul think than seeing if a rear glass can be removed without breaking!

  17. MR had jsut plain colour, and a NISSAN badge, HR had chrome lips, also some DR's too, and the small S badge
  18. yep, got one left side rear caliper, and front caliper. pads too. they look pretty ordinary, but definitly work. Im in Ringwood, work 2 km from Nissco, so I can leave them for ya with Randy for you to pickup one perfect day....
