with MSv3, some guys up yere get the commo coils and run a wasted spark setup, i think that means they have 1 coil per 2 cylinders im not 100% understanding it all yet... but the rally guys love it. i saw a subaru brumby with a 2.5 twin turbo setup on it.... went absolutly spastic when you booted it! i will def be running it, just waiting to finish the car 1st... then once i get bored of the L20et ECU i will start looking for a 2nd hand MSv2 or something simple like that but i want launch control, fans on at idle and braking, cooler water spray, boost control in certain gears etc... MSv3 can do all that!

any chance of separating the filler panel matey? im hopeing to enter my R30 hatch in the skyline nationals in vic at the end of july.... would luc yo have the front finished by then the R34 side-mount cooler im useing fits under the iron mask headlight alot better than the oz spec series 1 or 2 (i have both) if i have to use the oz spec then i need to move my air con dryer or something (cant remember exactly the name), which i dont wanna do as i like the air cons! or im slightly considering useing it as a top mount over where the stock airbox lid is... what happened to the one i sent ya last year??? there are a few up at the local wreckers... will check price for ya. -
megasquirt link for hybrid z forum lotsa good stuff there. 3.8 V6 commodore coils can be used too for a tps i would suggest the one on the KA24e (including the throttle body) found on front wheel drive 2.4 liter Pintara Ti & T models there are a few guys really getting into it up here in Vic, including a well-known datto ralley workshop. will keep you posted im currently going to run my L20et gear for the minute, then will MAYBE attempt to use the gear from a RB30e (R31 skizza) with the L20et maps loaded, along with a hotwire afm! will then get on the dyno and wideband tune it... ( have mates that can sort this out) BUT megasquirt is by far one of the most researched L6 aftermarket ECU's... so theres alot more support and development

getting some 440cc GTR injects. arent too hard either... i see them all the time for about $350 a set of 6. there is a safe way of attaching them to hose tail type connection . you need to dremel 1mm deep by 4mm long off the circumference of the lower part of the 'shank' insert part below the original 0-ring this gives the hose clamp some 'bite' to stop hose slipping off end just use brand new hose and clamps to be safer again....

sabbi.... $100 for the R33 turbo??? how many km??? is it possilb eanyone has a spare dump pipe to suit as well???

im pretty sure there are a minimum No. of range visits required for useing the target shooting reason fo ra license. also there are pretty strict storage rules too, with random inspections highly likely. AND even if you get an air rifle from a mate or cousin etc... you need a license to purchas ammo, so when you run out... you gotta got buy more somehow eh! My ate had his A&B lic in Tassie, and it was un-transferrable to another state too... so once he ran out of pellets he couldnt get more as the shops wouldnt sell em to him. (plus he looked like a 'yobbo') ANd a .177 is NO TOY... they can have more power than a .22 rimfire.... (also a .22 with ultra low velocity 'Zimmer' ammo and a 'flash supressor' made by berocca is 5x quieter than any air rifle...)
-
you back yet mate? i wont be able to go ahead with purchase as your place is too far to ride! plus no trains etc.... if you get it near the city let me know....
-
