they are from a USA maxima i know theyre not EXAACTLY the same as an OZ spec MR30, but close enough!

i thought some ppl out there may be able to put these to good use. i am unsure if they are EXACTLY the sam as OZ L24e's, but they are a bloody good reference! i suppose v2 refers to the series 2 (logic eh!) I am useing one or the other to sort out a loom for the L20et ECU conversion

DAMN V8's BUST EVERYTHING! even ghost's V8 lexus powered cressida seems to like bustin suff too! the kid that i bought my L20et from dropped in a 5 liter vl engine in his HR30... broke just about everything then! did the 280zx still have the engine in??????

IF my R30 had rego i would take it... i cant really justify the tow though i might go as a spectator...

another 5 or so from forum R31 are probably coming along too....

Just to remind you we are all in australia and newzealand, maybe 1 or 2 in japan i think it would cost thousands to send an engine to siberia you may be better off looking in a euro forum. or take your L20et to a very good engine builder and get everything balanced and rebuilt, then add some 1984 300zx turbo injectors and a better turbo from a RB20det you will have upwards of 115 to 120kW then!

i know of 2 280zx in local wrecking yards (kilsyth pick a part and ringwood/heatherdale rd pick pay & go) both seemed to have semi-complete rear ends....no motor/box/diff/ or any important good stuff! i can check MAYBE check after work tomorrow, but depends on how much work!

i think the roads up there are pretty sweet.... cant wait to get a car running so i can actually come along! im about $1000 away from finishing the turbo R30 skyline... hopefully see ya's soon... EDIT: you do realize the 26th is a OK I WAS THINKING OF NOVEMBER!!!! night?????? what a dumbf**k!!!

omg!!!!! THANKS so much i was wanting to do the 5 speed conversion, but just couldnt be arsed (again) getting the dash and everthing out (like what i had to do to get the manual pedal; box out of the wreck) definitly a weekend saver for sure!!!!

what happened to the nice 2-door one you had, the blue & grey one??? i really liked that! good luck with the sale, i suggest making a 'advert' on youtube, so others can see how it goes, give it a bit of a run but dont make it look like you thrash it! i bet you could make $1500 in selling parts off it EASY.... you got the lights and turbo i want, plus loom!

I used to be on fastmagna a few years back!... long live the astron! for this mini cruise, if its pissing down it would be crazy to do it... an alternate run up to kinglake is ALOT safer... maybe use it as a backup? even in the wet the kinglake run is safe. in the dry the spur is magical i will pencil myself in. plus a few mates. Mag86 (worked U12 Pintara-2-tone burgundy/grey) Nomad. (r31 psykline-purple, white 17") Fuzzter (off its nuts GC8 WRX-green ) i will also be bringing a CB radio... very handy for relaying messages/warnings PM me your number and i will SMS my details etc for updates?
