Trust/GReddy extension dump/front pipe kit, ceramic coated, made from stainless SUS steel, 3.5" exit to cat, to suit R32 Chassis, (turbos in picture not included!!) - $700 Firm. 2. R33 GTR crank, was taken to Hi-flow engines Balcatta to get inspected (receipt to prove), Fine to be used again. - $200 Firm. 3. Splitfire (Part #:SF-DIS-001) RB26 coilpacks, perfect working order. - $400 Firm. 4. HKS racing suction kit (airflow less meter type) with K&N filters, ceramichrome coated, powder coated satin black, with silicone joiners, HKS intercooler hard pipe kit, 3" from end of Y pipe to plenum, with bolt clamps, complete replacement of your factory induction/piping system. - $800 Firm. 5. Essential oil catch can (power coated satin black) with braided lines and speed flow fittings, sits in front of smaller car battery, (rocker covers will need to be tapped to use the hoses). - $250 firm. 9. Standard RB26 turbo side piping. - $150 Firm. 10. New black silicone hoses, one is 3" internal diameter and 90cm long, the other is 2.5" internal diameter and 70cm long. - $70 Firm each. 11. RB26 Trust extended sump with baffled pickup complete with working R32 GTR front diff (standard ratios), complete - just take off your standard sump/diff and bolt this one on, (please note: sump plug hole thread may need to be re-threaded due to slight leak) - $700 Firm.   10. Same sentence or not, I was merely replying to a request from the topic starter to elaborate. It was in the same sentence but it was not a cause of the motor failing. It was merely just another separate issue that I did not bother to fix. Is that more accurate? Is everyone happy now?

I would but it would point out my utter stupudity (see I'm not afraid to tell the world I f^$ked up) Oh well I will then Built motor, -5's, tuned by a mob which I thought new what they were doing, ingnored the compression surge (which the tuner pointed out as well), ignored the PFC flashing the exhaust light.....bang, crack on bore 5. No I am NOT saying that compression surge was THE casue of the problem, but I am sure it did not help things overall. Lets get back on topic now.

  15. Problem is this. Would your tuner be using the correct industry standard description of the problem? There are a few descriptions (turbo shuffle, compression surge, reversion). They all title different issues but the true meaning of each is lost with the endless mechanics out there that describe issues differently. As what has been said above, the -7's that you have are almost the same size as stock. They would unlikely cause the above mentioned problems. -5's, GT-RS, HKS 2530's are turbos that are known to cause COMPRESSION SURGE This, untreated for a long time is not good at all. Sometimes you wont even hear the problem if you have an airbox and stock piping. I heard the problem becasue I had a hard pit kit and pod filters. I have learnt my lesson.................................

Comes with standard lines, mounts and bolts, not discs as they were worn out past the minimum and of course are useless.   19. I guess everyone has different experiences. But up until recently I was running Falken RT615 Semis all day every day wet/try. Grip was awesome!!!!
  20. Check that your starter relay is not going off the imobilizer. Cheap installers will use the imobilizer's relay as part of the starting circuit which is crazy!!! Killara in Bayswater does a mobile service. They have seen this problem many times on GTR's (i.e. mine). Problem was sorted. If it is not that at least you have a good Auto sparky to help you onsite.
  21. +1 Semi-slicks = slower times at the drags Semi-slicks are better for the street but too expernsive as an ongoing cost. Who wants to spend $2K every 12 months on tyres? A good quality street tyre will do the job for the street well enough. MT ET's are great for drag as the side wall is softer and far more suited for drag racing (that's what they were made for). If you are serious about quick times, get ET's + smaller diameter rims to allow you to have more sidewall (rather than less).
  22. Thanks for your comment. You are in a line of about 10 people that want to buy my brakes. The thing is, if I sell them it won't be enough $$$ to ever buy them again so there is not point to sell. I intend to use my car for track duties next year so I need to keep them.
