Hey All, I currently have a HKS Racing Suction Kit (MAF-less version) with K&N Pod Filters and a custom rear turbo outlet pipe to clear the 6 Boost Manifold: Now I have bought a ARC Airbox and I wish to fit it. I know that HKS and Trust/GReddy have suction kits that are designed to be used with the standard air flow meters. My questions is, is there anyone here on SAU that has one of these MAF suction kits and the ARC airbox fitted in their R32 GTR? If you do would you be kind enough to post pics? My Maffless HKS suction kit does not allow the ARC airbox to sit where it needs to. So I am going to end up selling my current kit and buying the MAF version of the HKS or Trust/GReddy kit. But before I do I just want to see if anyone else has this required setup. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Garrett 2860 -5 Turbo Killowat Potential
im late replied to GTRAAH's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
This question has been discussed over and over again on SAU. The -7's will spool up quicker than the -5's. The -5's will always make more top end power and overall power over the -7's. -

Yes you are right. But I have a friend over here in Perth that has -5's with a stock thickness gasket and there is only a small response improvement. I also have compression surge issues every now and then. But yes a 1mm gasket would be ideal for moderate boost levels. -

I got -5's, forged 2.6, 1.6 Head Gasket. It sucks balls for the street. Lacklusture response. A 2.8 (Like Gav's) would be awsome. I am running 363RWKW @24PSI on pump 98. There is a bit more to play with on my setup but leaving it for now. Turbos will go higher on PSI. Get your dyno to tune and boost till you start to see diminishing returns, i.e. your turbos stop making more kw at a cetain psi (which normally varies between engine setups). -

Any movement on the price? -
^^ What Mike said. + remove and inspect/clean the AAC Valve. Use carby cleaner only. There is an adjustment screw but no need to touch if it was idling fine before. + Double check all vacumm lines are loose/worn/split or have come off.... These are reaching 15+ years now so not surprising easy/chaep parts may need replaicng.

Hey all, I am after: 1. ARC R32 GTR Air Box with filters. I guess buying price will depend on condition of box/filters. 2. Pair of standard R32 GTR AFM's. I don't want working ones so I am not going to pay much for them. Happy to pay for postage to WA. PM or Adam on 0424 982 764 Cheers.

Are you 100% it is the motor stopping the up/down operation? Sometimes it is the "electrical tracks" on the switch assembly which burns out and all that is needed is to solder a wire from one switch point to the other. Anyone handy with a soldering iron can do this. Just don't want to see you buy a motor only to find it was not the problem.

Hey All, I know this is long shot but worth the try...... Does anyone have the 2nd gear and input shaft from the OS Giken Cross Mission Gear Set? Thought I would post this before I go and buy new from Otomoto. If by any chance you do, PM me or call me on 0424 982 764. Cheers.

If you would have gone to the Brembo Website you would have found this: http://www.brembo.com/distributors/list.aspx?country=aus V-Sport and Barrie Smith Motorsports are the official Australian distributors of Brembo Brake Kits. Be prepared to watch your wallet lose weight. -
Hey Brendan, Most brake places can make them up for you. Are you NOE or SOR? Check if the rear factory hose is due for a replacment. If it is do it. I personally would do it. OEM or nissan is fine. Just go to convetrys or amcap for them. They will be able to supply the OEM ones for you.
