me and me mate started installing my new walbro fuel pump, bleeder valve and boost guage w/air-fuel ratio reading. We started at 8, finished installen everything and tidying up by 10, then got boostin in the rain. by the looks of things im running the stock turbo at 12psi-13psi w/ the fuel pump, 5zigen cat back exhaust, k&n cold air intake filter. point is... the raing made good drift lube, and bad f**ken hassle when opeining up the hood to open the bleeder some more. That lightning i mistook for speeding cameras for a while... lol.

Instead of going the full 1L in the car, I am going to go with 500ml. Of course with prolongued use it cant be good. ill only "treat" the car 1ce every 2 months with this stuff with 2 consecutive 500ml doses.

ill take ur advice sinista.

black mate i didnt go agro, I was restating my question for someone who has used it before to answer. simple as that, i didnt put any exclamation marks or use caps or nothing in that post in order to emphasise that I was getting mad at you... that simply was not the case ... fyi, i trust him cause hes my uncle and he has a 1976 kb centura running on LPG and it still goes strong after 30 years with the exact same engine. hes kept it in running order with the stuff and its been succesful. I dont care about any increase over BPs fuel. I use 98 RON only. I wanted to use it 1ce to help clean out the engine system a bit. maybe 2ce in a row before going back to strait 98ron.

um, i said an engineer of 20 years said to me "It boosts the octane rating and cleans out your fuel lines and systems with no adverse effects to your engine or rubber fuel-line parts." my cars a late 96 model Series 2, and the engine being in good nick apart from a small oil leak and a leak coming form the power steering reservoir. I was simply asking if anyone has heard of people doing this shit. I am getting 60 litres of the stuff for nothing so If its beneficial I shall keep doing it... but I dont know a way to tell if the car liked it or not..... any ideas?

I've got the word from an engineer that if you fill up your car with BP Pulp (or any quality 98octane rating fuel) then add 1 litre of IPA to the mix, it boosts the octane rating and cleans out your fuel lines and systems with no adverse effects to your engine or rubber fuel-line parts. the stuff costs ~3 dollars per litre for a 100litre drum. Has any1 heard of any1 doing this. I trust him so I am purchasing 20 litres today to give it a shot and give the engine a clean. For those of you who dont know, the stuff is used to clean Electronic parts and used in ultra-sonic baths to clean PCBs and engine parts in mechanic workshops i think.

id say nissans are better. im converted. my cousin is running a VT now and hes dropped a supercharged v6 in it from older first gen type HSVs and hes running a 5 speed manual gearbox with it. he just got it running last week and the car pulls so f**king much. but there are some interesting engine management problems as there is no such thing except for about 6 custom cars in australia in total that have got to run a v6 supercharged engine with a manual conversion. i dunno about you but hes the 2nd only person in adelaide to do this and i went for a drive with him tonight to findon and its f**king sweet. +rep to him for pulling it off somewhat... now to go somewhere to do the management. but putting all holden talk to the side now, if i wanted to buy a car that i could thrash id buy a holden, if i wanted to be an enthusiast and go on cruises and seem somewhat less bogan id get a nice sports coupe turbo like a skyline.

just to help clear things up for PRO AERO The units of measure are: "bar"= Barometric pressure units. 1 Bar = 14.7psi (or so) psi = "pounds per square inch." so if a car is running at 0.8 bar, its doing around say 11psi or so but im no good at maths

nice, didnt know if there was some part number u could reference for me to just go in and get them but i guess dissasembly of the tail lights isnt soo hard.... gonna have to do it anyway i guess

same dude, yeah rostrevors cool, not too far away from the city (10-11min drive to centre no traffic & 18-20mins during morning peak hour) and the best way to make your way to either old norton summit or montacute road cruises to have a bit of fun or a relaxing drive in the car.
-
Yeah saw the same one parked on the footpath just outside waves/casino with a Porsche GT3 on the other side. I'd take the GT3 anyday, but then again if I sold that huuge beast id be able to buy 10 Porsche GT3s. btw SAZilla is no more: name-change

D....de..def...defected (ho Ho Merry Christmas)
Pauly33GTS-t replied to Bl4cK32's topic in South Australia
black, you will find that when u have those sacred papers from regency, its easy for you to foil cops to say that you have had all this stuff checked off from your last defect, as they should not have defected you in the first place for something so trivial when they got other cars such as piece of shit holdens that are 20 years old roaming the streets with excessive screeches from their timing belts as they roll down the road on flatspotted tyres wrapped around 15 inch rims. -
hey fellas im looking in autobahn catalogue here and its got Greddy FMIC kits for ~750-800 mark, if you guys have seen this one, you think its a good buy for quality? im tending to pick only good quality parts for my new car. i heard u can get FMIC kits for as low as a few hundred.

who here has had a defect, managed to get off it rather quickly, been given the golden papers of eternal escapage by the magical elf in the land of regency, and used them to tell the various authorities that the vehicle has already passed thru and all your old shit (which is by this time now back on the car) is approved.
