thermaltake case, antec psu and watercooling kit by thermaltake whcih makes no noise but performance relies havily on surrounding air flow and temperature i think im gonna find a custom pump and radiator soemwhere but ther waterblock for the CPU is sweet as. for the other parts i cant say the same.

well havent payed zertek yet, but we agreed on an amount under 15 grande. as i said, pending RAA inspection which I think should pass the test. car drove smoothly on the test drive no steering wheel rattle, corrected nicely etc. now compression test and stethoscope test for the bottom end then by end of this week hopefully i got it. no reason apart from RAA telling me motor is on its way out that i shouldnt have this car in my possesion in a few days.

aaaaaaagreed. i think tho i am going to hand this thermaltake rocket back for a thermaltake bigwater or something similar. bigwater seems to be loved by alot of enthusiasts for price and peformance. id favourably make one myself but then Id have to pick a good pump, resevoir, radiator etc... if i could get my hands on one of the 240v powered server chassis fans from work and install that beast and didnt have to put the computer 200 mtres away from the screen and kb/m then id do it but they are too f**ken loud.

on whos opinion. a proffesional one or yours. my system makes 0 noise practically. only 1 fan needed now. i wanted to sacrifice as little as possible including the price of a system for silence.

Well ive done quite a bit searching (no doubt like adz2332 did) and I think ive found the right vehicle. 1996 R33 Series 2 RB25DET manual,turbo. silver. looking forward to completing the inspection and payment by end or mid this week sometime so I can go for a few cruises with u guys over the coming months. I wanted to buy stock, and then mod it all myself and I think ive found just the right car to start thinking about some serious mod projects. it looks nice and clean apart a key scratch which im getting fixed asap and its dyno @ boostworx shows 156kw at the wheels now on stock boost, 5zigen exhaust system and a pod air filter from K&N. so pending the events coming up during this important week, its looking bright for the future.

methanol and what?.... i heard people using Reverse osmosis and anti freeze solution but i dont have any anti freeze on hand. just the RO water. the unit im using is a Thermaltake Rocket fanless radiator water cooling system. performance is heavily reliant on the delta temperatures and therefore if its 30 degrees in the house its going to be nearly 50 degrees on the CPU in idle and the CPU is an E6600 which means max safe temp is 60 degrees... dangerously high. when i run the aircon and get the inside temp down to 24 or so the cpu runs like a dream and does not mind a heavy overclock at all. ~36 degrees idle.

im running an antec trupower 2.0 550watt power supply to run an e6600 and a 7950gx2 (which im selling btw) and no problems so far whatsoever... still early days but i like the way this psu operates... now if i can get my bloody water cooling working properly.. i got Castrol coolant running in the mofo and still it dont like the hot weather. the ambient temp and the water temps are killing me. the fan that came with the e6600 was better. when i open the window at night tho the fanless radiator gets working and fresh cold air always is the go for any equipment that dissapates heat.

or a cup holder? if he was going to get a good screen, tv tuner, sat nav setup it will cost him anywhere between 3 to 8 grande depending what shit goes in the car. if someone can help him and give him what he wants then cool, if not then mate ur gonna have to shop around. maybe skip the tv altogether.

Just car quoted me 1225 a year via the net for a 96 Series 2 Skyline manual turbo. just that the claims are f**ken 2200 a piece. im 20yo no history with bullshit whatsoever. good driver.

since air and exhaust is the first mods im doing. and if ur recomendation is a killer.. where can i get that N1 duals from.

The fact that your arm gets tired holding the remote up. Maybe this is more than just a console but a form of endurance. Something that nintendo consoles have been well known for. how many times did your arms n hands hurt holding that dam snes controller playing mario bros for hours on end... i want that feel back. but at the sametime... PS3 looks to be the most sophisticated unit this console generation.

It is kinda torquey and loves to be pushed. the handling is great and its a very smooth car... you feel like your in a cacoon when @ 180km/h. It can get to melbourne on a full tank of petrol i reckon, only downside is that tyre changes are mandatory every 12-15,000 kms. had it for 12,000 kms and needed a new set of rims cause the insides where worn to the metal (mitsus camber on the 380s for handling doesnt promote rubber longegivity you could say). This could aslo be the occasional cruise with my mates to mt. lofty. 1 VR Calais v8 beast (deceased last week), 1x Nissan Sil80 (since defected), and 1 380GT. i could keep up with the nissan around the corners almost, but couldnt keep up with the v8 or the sil80 down the line. (turbo and v8 beast)

GOOD! i was gonna say man u out of ur freakin mind to put that vinyl on there lol... was gonna . If you must, stick with the well known manufacturers vinyls on the side of the car around underneath the side mirrors. its not different, but it still looks kinda cool. HKS, Greddy, etc etc all that shit is widely acceptable if its actually under the hood.

Dude, if ur that keen on vinyls, the only vinyls u should stik on the car are manufacturers vinyls. that at least means something and im sure snake had got some nice mods done to it from some good names. dont stick lines, tribal vinyls, or anything ud find in 2f2f or NFS most wanted, on ur car. it will only attract unwanted attention from police and would look ultra tacky on a silver color. Ive always thought wat about glow in the dark green manufacturers vinyls on the side of a silver skyline to make it look like the rear skyline writing on the boot lid thats a glow in the dark factory option.... tell me if any1 knows what im on about. Thats my idea lol, but i spose you can try it for me. that way when i get mine and mod it i can see what it looks like. no matter what anyone says i reckon glow in the dark vertically paralell manufacturers vinyls on the side door would look awesome.

sorry, i dont give a f**k about noise... all i care about is in car reverberation, drone, whatever u want to call it. what can be done to get rid of that and who does it properly, i could name a place that doesnt do it properly on my old car after 2 attempts, but f**k me it was just a lancer which had 2 and 1/4 inch cat back when i was 16. ud think theyd get it right 2nd shot when i said NO f**kEN DRONE.
