  1. what time. do you all want to go together? make a bit of a cruise outta it?
  2. Yeah, I'm talking 300km at BEST. If I give it a bit I'm lucky to get 250. I spoke to a mechanic about it today. He's gonna replace it for me under the warranty I got with my car. Who says those warranties aren't worth shit hey? We'll see how it goes hey?
  3. where and how?
  4. Oh, I forgot to say, my fuel warning light doesn't come on either? How can I fix it? Where is my o2 sensor and AFM? How do I check them? I can get about 400Km on the highway only.
  5. Yeah I'll be in. Any time suits me MotoX, your Avatar looks very familiar!
  6. I have always goten poor fuel economy in my R33. I read recently that it might be the oxygen sensor? I only get about 300km to a tank. I thought that was just normal. Does anyone get much better than this?
  7. MTX subs are awesome. Go the highest series you can afford.
  8. Galaga Arcade Machine. Absolute Collectors Item. The little table like one, that used to be at every fish and chip shop around. Takes 20c peices. Fair condition. Works 95% of the time. Needs a good home. Will post pictures when I can get them. Offers over AU$1500.00
  9. Ill take the Tv unit if you're just gonna throw it away?
  10. Just buy what you just said, Splits, a sub and an amp. 6" splits will fit no prob, and get an amp that'll run everything. Buy the most expensive stuff you can afford, cause if its all the one brand, the dearer stuff should be better.
  11. I would go option B. Your splits will still sound good if your head unit has even half decent power. And the benefit from a sub will outweigh the benifit of powered splits tenfold. Hope this helps dude.

    R33 Tail Lights

yeah, that's possible. just a bit time consuming ****ing around to get it right. Oh and you'd have red indicators unless you get the clear lenses as mentioned above and orange bulbs
  13. Yes, do that. Or buy a 5 channel amp?

    R33 Tail Lights

Some bodgey Japense bastard had cut the wires on mine so that only the outside two tail lights illuminated. All 4 would light up for the brakes though. It was quite cool as no one could pick mine as a Skyline from a distance. I have since re wired it so that I have the trademark 4 stove plates. I couldn't bare bieng different, but I think clear is cool
  15. I did the same thing. Just go down to JB Hi Fi and buy a pair already made. about 9 or 10 bucks.
  16. How many people would be interested in meeting up on a Sunday for an "Organised" cruise up or down the coast. It's seems there are too many bevan's out in there Falc-Odoores on Thursday & Saturdays. Too many people attracting the wrong kind of attention. A cruise up to the Sunny Coast or down to the Gold Coast on a Sunday for a BBQ and meet up would be a lot easier to organise and be less likely to end in tickets and defects. Anyone interested?
  17. Signat is top line stuff.
  18. Oops forgot the link what a chump! This forum @ AUDIO INSTALL PICS http://forums.skylinesaustralia.com/showth...s=&threadid=671
  19. Why would you want to put speakers in the back anyway? Your whole sound stage will be screwed, especially if you put bigger(louder) speakers in the back. I have a set of splits and a sub. Bass is non directional and will only fit in the boot. You want all of your music to come from the front, not from behind you. I reckon this is all you need. By a few GOOD things rather than lots of shit. Do you go to a concert and face the back so all the sound comes from behind? I think not. Those who posted their theories on wood in spacers are right. It will resonate less, therefore absorbing less energy from the drivers and sounding fatter and deeper. This will go for a parcel shelf too if you decide that you need rears. A MDF parcel shelf will sound heaps better than the thin bit already there. Oh, and if you think 6x9's are the shit you should trade in your Skyline and get a WRexcel. And if you think I don't know what I'm talking about, have a look at my posts here for pic of my previous car.
  20. they might hold sixes, now that I think about it mine may be 6 and a half's? regardless if your speakers don't fit in, pull those plastic pieces of shit out! and wood spacers WILL make it sound better anyway!
  21. Those plastic speaker holder thingies only hold 5 or 5 1/4" speakers. I pulled mine out (the plastic things) and threw them in the bin and put in a set of 6's. You need to make or buy a pair of wooden spacers though. I got mine from JB Hi Fi for about 9 bucks. This will make the speakers sit in the right spot (so your windows don't hit them) and make it sound heaps better.
  22. Youve probably wired it wrong, Check that you have wired it into the light switch. Sometime you can accidentlly use the wire that switches the deck dimmer on (with the headlights) as an earth. Be sure to earth straight to a metal part of the chasis. As I recommend to everyone who is having a car stereo problem, check the wiring, then double check it and then triple check it. Then if all that fails. get soome one else to check it.
  23. I've never done this before, but is it hard to get a low car with a low front bar up onto a dyno? If there's no problems then I'm in.
  24. Do you mean after 9 at night? Oh dear, I'll have to ask permission. If the answer's no I'll sneak out. So count me in.
  25. Myself and a friend. That box is 3 cubic feet underneath. With nothing in the boot, I can sit in it and my head doesn't touch the parcel shelf. Mind you I'm only 5'6" I'll be starting on my Skyline next week. Either full audio visual setup, TV/DVD/DTS/5.1 setup or Just a modest headunit and neat boot. Can't make up my mind? I don't need to go doof doof doof any more to get people to look at my ride What'ya reckon?
