  1. im not sure if you can buy a 'kit' as such.. However i just had my transfer rebuilt by Terry @ Award Diff and Gearbox in Rydalmere.. Top work and decent price.. Try give him a call and see if he can help you.. I think Paul (twoogle) has had his one done there as well..
  2. Its a push type.
  3. still for sale guys... had a buyer but they were a no show
  4. waiting for a new home...
  5. BUMP for a cheap box
  6. ok.. ill try removing the tierod end later on today.. i didnt really want to remove the hicas elimination bar as the holes are elongated which will definately mean it would need to get re-aligned. Any other methods/suggestions? Thanks for the quick replies
  7. bugs... Yes, the take up is still aggressive in mine, but did/does yours chirp the wheels if you let it go a little quick? Thanks
  8. Hi, I just tried putting on alloy pineapples in my rear cradle but i couldnt get my breaker bar with the socket on the nut to undo it. The reason being the steering arms from the hicas pass directly in front of the nut and there isnt enough room to get the breaker bar/ratchet with the socket. I tried undoing it with a spanner but the spanner was flexing so much it was on the verge of snapping. I have a hicas elimination bar on the car. Can i unbolt the bar so the arms drop lower and try to get it in there. Will my rear suspension become un-alined because i have removed it. How have other guys put these in their cars? Thanks
  9. my driving style has changed but i dont think its changed much. it used to chirp at low revs/speed. but now even if i release it quick, it doesnt chirp, just grips. its like its cushioned Thanks anyway
  10. Hey, I recently installed one of these clutches on my GTR. When i first drove it, it bit like a b*h. Very little take up, had to ride it a bit so it wouldn't stall. Whilst changing gears, if i wasnt cautious, it would chirp all 4 and feel like the wheels were going to rip off.. lol However, i noticed a real change after i had put approx. 145km on the clutch. The "chirpiness" disappeared and it seems like the clutch has lost its angry bite. The clutch is still good and doesnt slip or anything, but has just lost that angry bite. (clutch now has 350+km on it) Im just wondering if this is what other people have felt and if its normal. If not, what could have caused this? Thanks

  12. BUMP... This is still for sale guys.. The box is still driveable.. You just have to do a slower 4th gear change
  13. Item: R32 GTR gearbox Condition: Used Comments: This box was in my car. It has the "common" 4th gear syncro problem suffered by the early model GTR gearboxes. Im not the type of guy to tell you its fine and sell it for $1000+. Im letting you know the problem with the box hence the low price so you can fix the issue with the money you save. It also comes with the transfer case. Price: $450 Location: St George Area, Sydney Contact: Either PM me or call/msg 0409 653 450
  14. woooowww... that thing should look crazy with a big dish.. all the best with the build whos ever it is
  15. GeeTR - Yeah, i have been following his work in the rotor scene as well and my friends cars motor was built and tuned by him with awsome results not to mention all the other cars under his belt and that he gets flown overseas to tune cars as only few tuners are regarded that good to do so.. Im just going to have to call him and have a chat. I just wanted to see if anyone had used him and why/why not as he's a great tuner. Thanks
  16. Thanks for the replies.. R31Nismoid - I am located in Sydney and he is coming to tune a friends car, so i was just wondering what he was like as i was thinking about getting my car re-done by him while he was here. Cheers
  17. I am just curious if anyone has had any experience with their GTR being tuned by Anthony Rodriguez from Maztech? As i am thinking about getting him to tune my GTR as he seems to be a very good tuner in the rotary scene. Any experience/advice is welcome. Thanks
  18. Well done.. Awsome effort.. Im sure they'll drop a little further
  19. Hey benm, Is your jack the 1.2tonne jack? Surely that wouldn't be enough to lift a GTR? Cheers
  20. I'll be interested if theres a group buy organised on a low profile one. I dont really care how many pumps it takes to full height as its not a race to jack up the car. Cheers
  21. these sound pretty good.. 1 question tho, im currently runnning a de-jetro in my gtr. Will the "mafless" versions use the same/similar nipples in the manifold? im loving the fact that you can have 2 seperate maps. One for the street on low boost/fuel consumption and the other for high boost at the flick of a switch..
  22. I know.. but they came with the car and i dont have the $$ to replace them with something better at the moment. Anyone? Thanks
  23. Sorry to dig up an old thread... but can someone send me instructions or tell me how to make all the different adjustments to the suspension as i think mine have previously been adjusted wrong... Cheers
  24. Thanks for the info Paul. I might have to go and visit them to ask them some questions.
