hey i got a series 2 R33 but non turbo and now saving for a turbo i need a few grand and i will prob get it about a month before im 18... Should i wait until im 18 to buy my turbo 33 or just go with 17 because if its alot of difference in price im not going to pay that bit extra cause i rang up 30 days to early thanks

if your car is near where u sleep at night have and alarm that makes a sound when u open the locks of the car and dont worry if your asleep your body will hear that and dont worry you WILL wake up, its a subconcious thing happens many times when my dad needs to move it while im sleeping i always wake up for a sec when i hear the sound

hey thats unlucky about a year ago i got defected only cost me 70 bucks,, um what i dont understand is the two things that were defected on your car are two legal things, so how come u didnt question it or do anything about it cause i actually think you would be able to get off this one.

on the way to work yesterday about 7am, i had a cop drive past me in the opposite direction and as soon as i passed him he SLAMMED on the breaks and chucked a U-turn and sped right up my arse then just turned the opposite direction. heard they do this say if you stole a car that u might make a break for it but yeh was stupid and made it so obvious.

My friends mum goes becareful drivin in town theres a police blitz starting cause of the busy season lol try drivig a skyline its the 'busy season' 24/7 all year

sorry for repeating myself but do you guys honestly get suction noise on your non turbos because i got a K and N and its not making any noise i just assumed cause its non-turbo but after reading this and your all getting noise,, maybe mines not mounted proberly or something anyway turbo 33 in 2 weeks lol but still id like to know why mines got NO suction noise

Well a couple of weeks ago i was in bed and i heard this really loud car going up and down my street at least 4 times anyway cause my room is upstairs and can see out on the road i decided to wait at my window. anyway i heard it coming back and guess what it was a s14 (i never seen it in the area before and it seemed suss) ... anyway i couldnt see much but i was watching him he had a passanger in his seat and he was staring at my car for about 5 minutes but he couldnt do anything cause the gate was closed and there was no way was he getting inside the driveway lol anyway what im about to say is dead serious and i swear on my life this is true. the passenger sitting next to him was a girl and withing about 5 mins she gets on top of him and they start doing it lol i couldnt see much but i could tell what they were doing anyway 5 mintues pass and he just leaves.... i thought nothing of it until i read this thread, maybe he was sussing my car out and relised he couldnt get to it and thought hed make it like he wasnt watching the car who knows lol anyway if he did steal my car hed be pretty pissed off when he drives down the street and realises its non turbo haha oh and for the record i live in the nice part of the western suburbs so yeh not like everyday someone just does it infront of my house lol true story

hey R34trk i duno about you other guys but i got a non-turbo 33 series 2 and a K&N pod made no difference at all with the sound?? obviusly cause its not turbo but duno if its gonna happen on yours?? but ye not mine

I get dirty and stupid looks driving my car just to the shops lol when it comes down to it our cars attract to much attention both good and bad, and when alcohol is mixed with it, it becomes worse so yeh id leave mine home

when i went through earlier in the year with mine he never checked my computer so i duno you might be alrite... one thing he made me do which was wierd was go an a machine and get my braks tested. when i saw the red light i had to slam the breaks on.. so make sure you got okay brakes just in case... and the guy didnt no mine was non turbo until half way through i told him.... lol he defected me in regency for having the original battery from nissan !! my uncle was saying how good that type of battery is ( which is true since it lasted 10 years and still had nothing wrong with it !!) and he is an auto electrician and he tried to import them here but there too expensive.. the reason it got defected was that it wasnt a dry cell batery or something..but yeh how long do you get out of a battery these days? 4 years maybe? and so yeh perfectly good battery i had to change good luck!

EDIT-- Basically im looking for places like auto tech imports, not car yards but like importers who bring in cars for you but still have some in stock so you can go and look at them, just like auto tech, lol its the only one i no. i want to stay away for the buying the car over the net thing if i can go to an importer and they have 33's in stock that would be better and i no they would be cheaper then a regular car yard, so basically i want to know where these places are in Adelaide. thanks again for all your help so far i no i been a pain lol

yeh i prefer buying private from someone not importing the car, im not really into doing the whole over the net or putting a deposit on a car that i have only seen in pictures. Do you think what im looking for is reasonable or do you guys reckon its a price that rarely comes along??

Hi Guys i havnt posted for a while being in year 12 and all finishing my last few exams. i no this is a newbee question and all but as you can all see from my username that i got a non- turbo 33 (series 2). since i got this car i always knew i was going to get a 33 turbo at the end of the year after my exams have finished... personal reasons why i didnt get one at the start. Anyway my question for you guys is that i no a few mates of mine whoo have got R33's series 2 turbo manuals for fairly cheap prices im talking between $13'800 - $15000 grand and they were in excellent condition. For me i really dont no where to look. Occasionaly i see them in private sales going for that cheap but there snapped up quickly. anyway what im trying to say to you guys is do you no any dealers or importers who do get rid of them for that price cause i no there out there and it can be done. I still got a week left of exams then im putting my car on the market and the big search is on for my series 2 r33 turbo. if any of you guys can point me in the direction of good dealers in SA or importers who sell them in that price range that would be great. i no auto tech had a white one a while ago for around 14 grand but i think thats gone. and sorry to ramble on like this. any help would be great thanks. thanks again

i defiantly have a problem 18l per 100km on a NA i sometimes dont even get 220km out of a tank

lol ye i dont really want to go that far and find out and run out of fuel hehe while im doing irrelevent posts, today i installed a k and n air pod, made a bracket so it sits right and ye is their anything to know about them do i need a heat shield? do they work better on hot or cold days? just general info sorry im only 16 and got little knowledge (some) but not alot and info on air pods in general would be great thanks. -- sorry to post here just think no point starting a new topic.

spotted a nice 34 on tapleys today heading to glenelg i know this is a stupid question and always wanted to bring it up but no point starting a new thread and all, but does the s2 R33 NA have a fuel light for when the tank is nearly empty. i never bring it down that far and always fill it up lol thanks in advance hehe

na but the cop had signed it off saying he is allowed to drive and you can drive anywhere. just got mine signed off and im driving on defect. yep and i go to regency in two hours yay!!!. .. . . .. . .. !
