So I Found A Guy Selling A Mines Ecu
esky_mad replied to Mr Eps's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
emanage and SAFC are very different. both emanage ecu's have ignition tuning (blue and ultimate) if you choose to use the ignition harness. Not as good as Nistune but far better than an unknown chipped ecu. My partners old 180 came from japan with heaps of brand name parts, but only a chipped ecu, swapped it over for a Dr Drift ecu (for a completely different set-up mind you) and it ran a million times better. Basically Jap tuned ecu's are useless in Australia. -
Anyone Selling Drift/street Ready Ceffy Perth

Yes it was well over done, given that it was one of the most expensive cars in the DA field and very rarely placed well. Yep the one on ebay now. could be wrong, but its same colour, has teins, Uras kit etc etc etc just as it did when it was previously for sale. -
do your best to avoid an thermo fan, how thick is you rad ? going to thick can actually make the car run hotter... where you cut the holes, depends on how you mount the cooler, just take your time and you'll fine.

Anyone Selling Drift/street Ready Ceffy Perth
esky_mad replied to dose_it's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
dry sump set-up isn't cheap, nor is quality coilovers, diff, quality turbo set-up, intake & exhaust manifolds, injectors etc etc. 5-7k would hardly cover the short motor in trewhellas RB. But i can't imagine the shell would have been in very good condition. A cefiro for 10k gets you coilovers on the rag, a sloppy 2 way, china camber arms, toe arms etc half arsed manual conversion... etc etc etc etc............ Cefiro's simply are not a loved car, for every person that loves theirs', there is 20 people that hammer theirs. I looked at a cefiro a few months ago that looked absolutely mint, with a poultry price tag to boot... thankfully i have some idea what to look for, turned out the it had some form of front end smash and had the rail jammed into the firewall.. pretty sure this car is back on ebay but being sold by a different owner, and with the price twice what was previously being asked. Goodluck buddy, you'll need it! -

interested to see this black/red, white/red interior.. -
eeek... try and get hold of a neo 34'd cable as they are the correct length and will fit straight up, otherwise a z32 cable which you can get from justjap.com (not much help for you ATM obviously, nor are they very cheap) z32 is alot longer, i used one for a custom plenum on my last two cefiros.

Nic the one shot ive seen of your white ceffy it looks pretty good, i havent seen the project ceffy however. the POS shell in the driveway lines up quite well, i cant remember what the old cefiro was like though.. all the pics i can find of cefiro rear ends look pretty good. -

the boot lock needs adjusting im aware of that.. im not sure if you see what im seeing, the rear bar bows up towards the taillights which it shouldn't. unfortunately Cefiro's are'nt disposable items in OZ like they are in NZ. what it should look like.. -
ok no one replied to my other thread.. hopefully more luck here. im looking at this shell in QLD. im in Sydney so obviously viewing it is tricky. ive had the guy selling it send me a few pics, and asked plenty of questions but he hasn't really inspected it since purchasing it.. The front end is super straight.. awesome. The rear im not so sure, as you can see by the pic ive posted the taillights sit in a awkward position in relation to the rear bar. ive tried messing around with the dead shell ive currently got but haven't been able to replicate the way it sits.. The rear bar doesn't appear to have previous damage so im lost as to whats going on.. maybe im being pedantic but the plate holder looks a bit bent.. basically curious to know what other peoples opinions are ? Don't be shy now...

Eoi Perth (or Possible Interstate Post)
esky_mad replied to Mr Eps's topic in Four Door Family & Wagoneers
Drill it.... a drill bit thats 2-3mm bigger than the spigot. it will take a bit of drilling but it will eventually either collapse the bush or the drill bit will grab onto it and pull it out. -

Drill that sucker out... i did and it worked fine. the crank is tough, if the drill bit does go haywire it'll just lean against the crack and cut the shite out of the spigot bush....which is what you want. eps, let me know how you want payment, also need to give you my details -

so whats happening ?? is this going ahead ?? -
currently advertised as a rolling shell, super keen... Anyone have any previous history of this beast ? Front the shots ive received the front is in super good shape, currently waiting on more shots of the rear and inside the boot, but does it look like its had a tap in the rear ? the tails sit on an awkward angle, possibly from being removed to be tinted and the original sealant wasn't cleaned properly.. which might expalin why the rear bar is slightly under the tails.. the boot probably just needs the lock adjusted to pull to flush with the rear quarters.. Discuss..
