takes a day to pull the old motor and throw in the 'new' one. its a big stretch to sell a 32 with a dead motor and somehow be able to buy a 33/34.. just because every man and his dog has put in a 25 doesnt mean you need to, stick with the 20.

what happened to the Fernandez Falcon ?? seems to have been a no show which is unfortunate. When i left Sierra was at the top with panspeed and tomei/cusco 2nd/3rd. all in the 32's.

or buy a mint white door off me...

pretty common on cefiros. im not sure what actually causes it. i just made custom switches for the front two and left the rears up...

wonder if anyone has ever measured the tunnel of auto and manual cefiros to see if there different...

just measure them up. RB30: measuring from front of bellhousing to where the shifter slots into the box shifter mechanism (dont no technical term) is 74cm from front of bellhousing to the end of the shifter palte is 79cm. RB20 is exactly the same.

thanks mate. still the best way to tell if a cefiro has had chassis damage... seems knowone else ever bothers to look there when checking out a car.

ill spare you the story as to why im asking this question. basically i want cefiro owners to have a look in the engine bay, ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE CAR (PASSENGER SIDE) where the chassis rail runs along to meet the firewall before it drops down and runs under the car.. is there a gap between the rail and firewall ? ive posted up some pics as reference. a gap of around 9-10mm is what im looking for. if there is no gap at all or a very small one, 1-3mm, is there any sign of previous damage ? or even damage that your aware of ?? cheers!!

in hindsight seeing an R33 rear ending someone isnt a uncommon sight, have to chuckle sometimes..

there used to be a sole cefiro forum a few years back, but naturally never took off...

hey guys, clearing out my garage after strippping the car. Trust Greddy Profec B spec 2, really good condition, hasnt been used much as my car never really saw much time on the road or track. comes with the unit itself, loom to the solenoid (SP) solenoid itself, loom for power and earth to the unit, vaccum line and the filter amd also the fittings for the solenoid - everything you need. still have the original box also. the unit is the black version. Located in westmead sydney. $280 PM TXT 0450472446 if i dont pick up. also have the trust turbo timer that matches the profec b (unsure of model) its complete and worked well but is missing the smaller loom, i think for power and earth, if your good with wiring you could wire it up.

RB30 RP71C RB20 RB71C look on the right hand side of the belhousing and you'll see the stamped ID. theres a bit of conflicting info on the net but i just checked my two dead 30 boxes and my 20 box, the 20 box also has alot more webbing on the outside of the bellhousing. i think its more to do with the floor pan than anything, as the boxes are the same length from bellhousing to shifter. my first cefiro came turbo auto, manual box was centred. second cefiro was non-turbo auto manual box was not centred.

ive had rb30 and rb20 boxes and they both sit in that same spot, in the old cefiro however the 20 box was in the center. both having been originally auto. trying different gearbox crossmembers wont change where it sits, only how high or low it might sit.
