Stock dumps are definitely restrictive but are awkward to change in the car fer sure, can be done but if you pay someone to do it I would be giving em a carton too, its that bad!!!! If you have further plans for turbo upgrades maybe consider waiting. Surprised nobody mentioned it but adjustable cam gears an a bit of time spent setting em up really livens these things up even with stock cams may be worth a look? and burnt fingers adjusting em!

Just tried the rims of my 32, ROH DriftR's on an earlier ford fairlane like el or some such wouldnt fit due to pressed ring in the center of the rims skyline was 66mm ford 71ish centers by taking the pressed ring out it would have fit offset was wrong though for the ford later ford has more offset and sposedly okay

What makes me laugh is I feel the same kinda feeling with my R32, around town it really isnt that great heavyish clutch, gearbox noises heavyish to steer etc, and if just in traffic other that the look an the wing quite unassuming off boost just putting around its not that "special" however on the track or a nice windy bit of road at speed it comes alive it just all gels and is such a rewarding drive I have not driven a 35 but it sounds like its much the same story maybe that means the flappy paddle thing really hasnt blunted the GTRness of the car that much?

Try buying spares for a toyota land cruiser thing expensive as buy jeep parts straight from the states and laugh at the toyota drivers Like other have said they are dirt cheap with all the fruit too leather v8 and an american aftermarket second to none you can by an amazing amount a stuff for em aftermarket and all way cheaper than toyota patrol etc etc remember the patrol is built to compete with a landcruiser it doesnt have to be good to be a whole lot better

Suspension will make a huge difference as to a comfortable daily If you dont do looooong drives its not such an issue but can still be pretty harsh if lowered to far etc.

Brought a set of I am pretty sure EL falcon twin thermos fit the radiator perfectly on my 32GTR but no way known would they fit in the engine bay without major butchering from memory all the power steering lines were in the way I believe these are almost identical to the AU ones They may fit a GTST or whatever but not a GTR removal of they previous owner installed thermos and replacement of the stock clutch fan and shroud was one of the best things I did to my car even on the track no overheating dramas and didnt notice any real change in response!!

spend what you can expensive helmets are often lighter so less strain on the neck while cornering etc. depends how serious you are about your safety/comfort at the end of the day

Rb26dett Recommended Oil For Track Use
noone replied to Big Laugh's topic in Motorsport Discussion & Builds
Ran mine on the track with stock bottom end an eventually killed it by then was running cams uprated turbos semislicks etc. keep it basically stock boost etc street tyres you should be fine oil cooler and slight overfill as mentioned are cheep insurance and worthwhile I think bet ya cant keep it stock long though! Start saving & hoarding parts now for the eventual rebuild though -
Heavy Duty Clutch & "double Clutching"
noone replied to Awesome's topic in Suspension, braking, tyres and drivetrain
nismo make a larger clutch slave cylinder this may help reduce the effort needed if its really given you drama I think though give it some time an you will find you get quickly used to it I get in most cars now an nearly put the clutch through the floor it seems so light compared to my 'line -

Rebuilt 26 Or Rb26/30 Into R32 Gtr?
noone replied to OzLeroy's topic in Australian Capital Territory
mine made 429 hp or 320 ish kW with a standard unbuilt bottom end cams an 2530's was boosting hard nice an early too expired on a race track though an the rebuild time an money is harsh Have a real good look at what you wanna do with the car n1 motors are really a fairly cheap option with factory reliability am wondering if that may have been a better option for me may not be for you though I dunno best a luck -
If your interested I brought a set of el i think ford fans same twin thermo setup but couldnt get em to fit in my gtr with minor trimming they would have fit a 32 radiator okay just wouldnt clear the power steering Am in darwin and could probly yank the radiator too if ya were keen to check one out as motor is coming out anyway In darwin so pm if ya wanna look reckon there was an alloy 32 radiator on boostcruising Darwin section recently it mighta sold already though

Usage makes a huge difference my 32gtr let go on the track making 427 hp at the wheels on a stock bottom end I suspect would still be kicking hard of it wasn't used on the track. No oil mods just a catch can and baffled rocker covers! next on will have all the oil control mods under the sun. there is a huge thread on oil control mods for drift track on here just search sydneykid started the thread I think.
