  1. If I wasn't on the other side of the country would be keen Mind saying where, how ya got this I was told it couldnt be brought in drums PM if ya like cheers
  2. Add as much caster as possible made the biggest difference both street and track on my 32GTR seemed to help reduce the understeer and associated front tyre wear a heap too Try it you will like it
  3. Would you consider swap for a 95 Jeep Cherokee +cash your way?
  4. working as a sparky in the mining industry in the NT if ya had a ticket getting work isnt that hard it isnt all its cracked up to be though trade qualified people are getting similar hourly rates in town up here its only the long hours and shifts that are making it seem like big cash
  5. Arc airbox filters are not that hard to get and I have even been told there are k&nb ones that will fit though I cant remember/find the part numbers Have a ARC box I might sell if your interested pm Had to replace with pods due to Z33 AFM upgrade you should take tat into consideration too if looking to get more power soon as the only other alternative is the nismo AFM
  6. Was considering a set of these for my semi-track car, still street driven. have alreadt got the trust dumps wih ceramic coating and had planned to coat these manifolds and exhaust housings on my turbos HKS2530's mostly to try to reduce underbonnet heat though it sounds like this may resolve the problem you mention also. And having them match ported. Just curious if anyone thinks these offer any real gains over the same treatment to the stockys
  7. Can anyone confirm this weight as need to get quotes on shipping for an rb26 long motor complete with sump
  8. Any intention to do these to suit Z32 AFM's???
  9. Mozzie repellant the spray on stiff like aeroguard works a treat to remove texta from plastics and most surfaces especially smooth ones or smooth painted ones. If your overly concerned spray a little where it cant be seen but I have never seen it damage any plastic ond use it all the time to remove marking out lines etc. Cant be beat!!
  10. Was wondering about this too brought a set for my 32GTR only to have my tuner say he couldnt fit em?? He hadnt seen em before though so wasnt sure any one know if ther is some trick to fitting them Might have a go myself at a later date I would still recommend running a catch can though!
  11. as above is it a manual any mods to motor does the aircon work?
  12. Isnt the carbon clear coated anyway? Thought most were
  13. R tyre sticky would be good as the other tyre sticky has a fair bit of uninformed opinions rather than real world testing info And R type tyres really are a whole nuther thing to street tyres Could be a good idea I reckon
  14. All good URAS no biggy bout the plug Yeah that online test is old as the hills the autosalon one was issue 51 last year when they started building the drift car suprised me as everyone raves bout the Apexi ones an they didnt test that good
  15. Okay for all those interested I can answer my own question regarding Trust Airinx filters I was digging around trying to find some exhaust gaskets and stumbled upon an old Autosalon issue with a review of air filters Airinx was pretty average flowing with pretty lousy filtration Apexi flowed better but actually filters worse Think I need to find some of the 3a Racing ones wich were the best flowing and only bettered in filtration by the K&N ones, which being wet (oiled) filters makes em no good with Skyline Afm's
  16. 2 Hours using a hoist or on jack stands figured it would be a bitch unless using a hoist
  17. Cheers mate thinking you are referring to the ball joint at the inner, where it attach's to the HICAS lock bar yeah? My problem is the one that Is pressed (?)into the hub itself, there is movement there the inner (the part that screws into the lock bar) seems nice an tight. I will have a chance to check it out better this arvo unfortunately need the car drivable next week for dynoing, so final alignment issue's may have to be dealt with after that was just keen to get a workable alignment so wasnt to much of a handful when on the dyno cheers anyway
  18. Thanks for that SK kit looks good and I am looking forward to getting back on the track and improving the lap times though the rear HICAS tierod looks a bit dodgy so might have to try an change that out to Was curious a to whether i can just unbolt the driveshaft and arms etc an remove the hub to press it out or will I have to replace seals in the cv joint or balljoints as well if I can split the lower ball joint and hub without damaging the boot etc I think its doable will be giving it a go thursday any advice much appreciated at this point
  19. When removing the rear hub assembly did you have to replace many parts was wondering if i can just unbolt the shafts and the hub assemblys etc replace tierod /hicas ends in a press then bolt it all back up? I assume you would have to use a press or maybe a porta power to actually press the tierod /hicas ens out of the hub assembly etc
  20. Sorry cant really answer your question but curious if you going for the I believe its oversize or stock size Had considered these a bit further down the track and curious to see others thoughts on which size to get Not sure of the size of rb20 pulleys though you would have to take this into account as well I guess Can measure my rb26 ones if that'll help?
  21. Have yet to install the kit but looks like it might be a tight fit, not sure if there will be room to run other filters not sure there will even be room for the washer bottle? Need to get Z32's an fit it all up I guess an see
