  1. Nissan/nismo are generally speaking rubber nismo normaly harder rubber nolethane etc. are urethane generally harderish than rubber color is just a dye though urethane is available in a variety of hardness's (durometer) too, to my knowledge none of the brands advertise the durometer they use? Not entirely skyline related but have found that things like body to chassis bushings go rubber, real chassis like a 4WD I mean, for comfort If its a bush that holds steering angles etc urethane, especially for performance applications ie. Skylines Just my 2c
  2. Uniqueautosports do em mine arrived today advertised as noltek (spelling?) but when they arrived they were some brand I had never heard of look okay though !!!! Come as a kit with the two on the rear subframe and two either side of the front (nose) of the diff
  3. Or have a heap of fun with the GTR euro ???? sif
  4. Jason pm sent with required details
  5. Quick release plugs / tap thingo's really are not a good option mine had one on the car took forever to empty the sump and stripped when removed, bugger. when tapping a hole swarf comes out as part of the cutting action so shouldnt go in' thats all we did and still good many changes later with a standard super cheap type sump plug. As long as the mechanic has the required tap size any mechanic should manage this one and from memory there is a fair bit of meat there to tap
  6. Frustrating to have to wait but if you can get a PM into his normally full mail box he will reply eventually, he gets lotsa mail me thinks. If you are getting group buy suspension it will be worth the wait!
  7. jason have sent pm regarding garrett's
  8. Go the mini!!!!!!!!!!!!
  9. pics ????
  10. Had a similar idea with the gauges myself would love to know if the stock boost sensor is still required also.
  11. defi link cables are not shielded you should be able to just cut an solder in a bit more length will be needing to do this myself soon
  12. Could b wrong Mafia but i dont think either setting could hurt em but stock type settings just wouldn't utilise the coils to the max as they dont have enough time to get full satutation so dont put out the maximum spark they can do. If only I had a copy of datalogit I could find out without having to try an convince my tuner
  13. cheers for the reply bud it was knocking a bit, much the same, before the new coils will give plugs a go I think an (as I dont have datalogit) chat to my tuner bout changing these other settings interesting how you say the dwell settings drop off after 4000 rpm coz it seems to be after 4000 to bout 5000ish mine seems to be struggling
  14. Leadfoot am having fairly similar problems with my tune knock to about 80ish right as she gets up on boost, have missed track days trying to sort it damn frustrating Just wondering if you dropped to a lower heat range plug when you put the splitfires as they reccomend, I didnt. Also curious if you had tried the settings recommended here http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...p;#entry3298482
  15. When installing my new splitfire coilpacks I remember reading that they recommend going to a heat range cooler plug as well would this mod to PFC settings be done as well as cooler plugs or instead off cooler plugs, am still getting a bit off knock 60-80 range with the new tune and am thinking off trying both plugs and these settings to try an sort it. I assume dwell changes allow for better coil saturation and resultant "better" spark yeah?
  16. Had planned on these myself though with Slide temporarily out of action, damit!!! might look at alternatives myself these were definitly no. 1 pick though. Any bigger like the 2860 -10 (reputedly about gtrs size) and lag becomes an issue I believe unless running like 2.8 etc though if lag isnt an issue they might be okay, might have read the need a diferent manifold, turbo flange adapter whateva sure someone will correct that if I am wrong. Going for response myself.
  17. how much u after for just the tyres?
  18. has any one actually tried to tune for 95 octane?? BP ultimate is available but rare up here in the NT no other options had long wondered what sorta power you would actually loose
  19. how much u after for just the tyres??

  21. Cheers mate figured the washers were probly just washers slight overkill on my part Living in the NT shipping on a set a shocks/struts I dont really want migh be a killer thought it was worth pricing genuine you never know $$$$$ will of course keep an eye out for second handys and as some of these parts appear to be just rubber bushes!? thought they might be worn anyway and I am impatient and want to install my new goodies ASAP
  22. Okay got all my parts from SydneyKids suspension group buy, thanks Gary looks great. Only drama is like many I suspect, I dont have standard strut tops to use to install my shiny new bilsteins looking through Nissan FAST (parts program thingo) trying to work out exactly which parts are required and was at least going to price them from Nissan So just wondering if anyone who has installed there group buy bits can confirm which parts exactly I need I am sure nissan wont be cheap so dont want to buy bits I dont need. Have attached a pic of the fronts and figure if i can confirm those parts are, 56113 56119 56115 56119a 54034 54055m and maybe the gasket looking bit 54329n, the rears shouldnt be to hard to work out Oh yeah mine had the optional Eibach springs too, so would much appreciate to hear from anyone who has these installed.
  23. found this one on ebay guess its close to skylinecouples had been considering something similar myself http://cgi.ebay.com.au/R32-Skyline-Under-E...1QQcmdZViewItem hard to really tell from the pics looks like it may need to be extended a little forward, and looks thick too
  24. might be slightly off topic but have noticed nismo clutch reinforcement brackets for sale on ebay etc any one tried one or want to comment on if there worth it or not?
