    Last time all the open limit signs between where i was working at the time at Pine Creek and Darwin disappeared overnight and i missed out :-( In all reality there were few sections of road that were really that flash, mostly a potholed goat track single lane Though did get to overtake coppers at hays creek at a little over 200 :-) good memory's

    Had pretty well figured this was likely to be the case might go with the plan to buy a car trailer and tow it to all the Queensland tracks lol Am i likely to get harassed for aftermarket seats? Carbon bonnet and the like? in either Gladstone or Brissy etc? cheers for the heads up about beneraby though!

    Okay looking like i will be relocating to Gladstone so wondering if anyone on here might be local and/ or able to give some info on the place? Any local workshops any good, dyno's? Are cops and defect checks likely? My thing isnt too over the top but has pods Trust intake piping etc. so doesnt exactly look stock lol. I dunno any info welcome, any motor sport events, hill climbs or anything in the area, good windy hills roads or anything??? Any heads up MUCH appreciated!

    would this still require the full torque plate hone etc? If you were say just re-ringing because of lack of bedding in etc as an example ?

    Darwin is totally different weather wise i would have thought, far more tropical, more moisture in the air. Hot dry Adelaide weather would be far more similar to Alice Springs desert type climate I would have thought!

    Removing that front drivers side shaft means dumping the diff oil to doesnt it? Been that long since i did it i cant actually remember, need to replace a split outer boot too

    wipe over with white vinegar then straight water on a microfibre to remove the vinegar doubt it would really matter but better safe than sorry probably do small inconspicuous area first if in doubt an treat any leather straight away with a leather cream after dont allow it to dry out

    When you say Redline do you mean Lightweight shockproof or MTL or Heavyweight shock proof or MT90? Depending on who you ask I have seen all recommended trying to save myself from a rebuild/replace straight away scenario especially as i am dealing with expensive freight costs either way!! Its probably unavoidable in the long term but for what $150 in oil I reckon probably worth a try?

    the recomendation on the redline site for a R32-34 skyline states Nissan 5 spd use 'Lightweight Shockproof', Getrag in R34 use 'Superlight Shockproof'. @ see handbook for Litres

    Geez okay thats more than i thought so one gallon bottle of Redline light weight Shockproof wouldnt be enough One Gallon (4 Quarts = 3.784L)

    Started getting some crunching 3rd to 4th today I am thinking to late to try shockproof now, not sure I can get any local so would have to order some Worth trying or am I also now in the market for a Box or a rebuild, how much does a rb26 box take 2.5ish litres yeah? car was sposed to be getting light track/drag duties again this year would be nice to get a trouble free year, I heard that was possible
