  1. Second Baron's comments tomei look nice and trust dump/fronts look even nicer and from searching on here seem to be the pick of all possibilitys though harder to fit than the other options I am going to try to fit trusts myself so may be able to give better advice soon
  2. my bad shoulda read better you have pm
  3. Any chance you could get a price to ship to Darwin 0822 cheers
  4. If you are really worried about it get a real spare or even another cars spare and sit that next to you under the car if it manages to fall off the stands spare will give you a chance as the car wont fall so far when changing tyres on the side of a road this is also a good idea as disks can get easily damaged if the car falls of the jack. 4wheel drive wheel or nice wide rims are of course better
  5. Thats what I figured the stockys were cheap too That makes it sound so appealing Not sure bout the weight have pretty stuffed semi's on em now so so will try n find a set of scales to compare my 18's are only ROH DriftR's so not exactly light I reckon maybe the forged stockers would be lighter. Thanks for the opinions an Sorry for the slow replys have been away from the computer for a bit! Would anyone suggest anything over the RE55s or is that going to open a whole nuther can a worms
  6. Great news There Sydneykid will pm and let you know what im after ASAP
  7. Tried searching but not much luck running 18's with 245's (street tyres)but just brought a set of 32GTR stockers with plans to run re55 225/50/16's but am a little worried that even with stickier tyres 225 may be a little smallish. Still running stock brakes on the gtr so dont need 18's for anything other than looks (for now at least) but will smaller width and diameter + bigger sidewalls be quicker or slower. Just hoping to get some opinions from others who mighta tried this.
  8. Damn that woulda been even worse You woulda missed a track day
  9. Had been hearing rumors of this merger definitly is true then, So is there still the possibility of NEW group buys or is this one no longer available due to new/different management Would like to get in on this if still available
  10. Beer Baron is that a feature with the DEFI II controller or the earlier one too knowing that I might be tempted to go sard anyway. Wasnt aware they did differential as well!! Thats damn cool really am running a defi boost too only I have the early controller.
  11. Bonnet pins damn!! Thats gotta suck! an scarey to me thinks at track speeds? Got any pics???????????????? Thought the turbo fairys took care of ya turbos for ya Your post about that scared the hell outa me doing same turbos but with trust dumps, Should be fun!!!! 96 with 103 ish oil temps on a nearly 40 degree day flat out on slicks think you done pretty damn good myself
  12. If you do remove the thermostat (I wouldn't recommend it) dont remove completely just cut out the valve part out and then put the rest back in as a restrictor as most cars I have done this to wouldn't cool properly without some form of restictor there to keep water from flowing to fast through the radiator, were not track cars though but I think this would still be the case. Living in darwin am keen to see your results will be fitting an oil cooler and thinking EL ford twin thermos when on break myself as she gets pretty warm on the track definitly going to try to seal round the radiator/intercooler a bit too. Still waiting on my vented carbon bonnet (custom carbon Qld. jobbie) sounds like similar venting to yours so interested to here about the changes you made to seal that better too, sounds like this may be worthwhile also.
  13. Thanx Beer Baron thats what I had suspected Should have gone the Sard regulator with a port for a fuel pressure guage guess I could t one in temporary though
  14. With the nismo reg do you just install and go or do you have to set it up to specific pressure you are after About to install pump and reg + new injectors but unsure if I can chuck it all together myself set correct settings in pfc and go or do I need to get it all installed by tuner. Plan to get it on the dyno again anyway but would rather install parts and just pay for tune rather than time to install as well as tune If that makes sence
  15. Yeh see what you saying but I think that is what the brace (which appears to be adjustable ) to the floor is there to prevent am assuming it would go to maybe the seat belt anchor points not sure might have to try and get in touch with the seller on ebay for more info. These would I assume be okay for track days etc. where only normal lap sash type belts are okay but would have to be removed if you wanted to use the rear seat anyway, with a B Pillar brace I reckon they would stiffen up the car a little though too.
  16. Are bilsteins in stock at the moment or waiting I assume other parts are still the 10 day wait as posted earlier Or is this done and finished no posts for a bit
  17. Stumbled across this the other day and seemed like a good option to me however it is designed for s14-15 but a similar idea might work for a skyline I thinks Would stiffen up the car some too, was on ebay here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/RACE-HARNES...sspagenameZWD2V anyone seen similar for a line?
  18. Dont spool do similar rod piston combo for rb26 too anyone had any experience with them Just curious Hope not to rebuild too soon
  19. Damn why didnt u post this a week ago Yeah i know i know
  20. This thread is scaring me but sadly I think most of it may be 100% correct
  21. Dont know if this effects you but went to the local pedders trying to source tie rod ends for the HICAS rack in the rear and asked about their drive on shock tester thingo guy said it probly wouldnt be accurate enought for the coilovers in a skyline
  22. Anyone got part numbers for the pedders ones
  23. Tried Pedders today the guy looked at me like I was mad, reckoned if I had brought one in he could measure and chances are he could get one to match but as I didn't have a part number he couldn't help EDIT Looked on there website an they list front ones for 32 &33 as the same part number??
  24. installed easy as didnt cure my little tune issue though and runs no worrys other than that though Just in case anyone was wondering
