I Need Everything Carbon For My R32
noone replied to felixy69's topic in Exterior & Interior Styling
pics would definitly b good. May have to go custom on the grill no one seems to do em for 32's. Dumb question but did u get all the parts from one source and was the finish similar on all parts looking at a boot lid and spoiler from different companys and wondering if the finish will differ between the two visually if u know what I mean. Carbon is such an expensive habit -
Sounds Like the coil on the compressor clutch is toast try searching the diy section as there is a good post on this there, hope u havn't cooked the wiring to much with that 15A fuse?!?

R32 - Have Your Overheat Fan Turn On With Your A/c
noone replied to Cubes's topic in Tutorials / DIY / FAQ
Top effort gotta be one of the cheapest mods on this site an damned effective to I am sure. Will be doing this as soon as I can get the coil on my aircon sorted. Again top effort -
Cubes thanx for that info mate very interesting did notice that the car seemed to run heaps hotter with the aircon running, for the painfully short time it did. r12a being the older gas may be a little harder to find though these days think there is a guy in darwin who still has some so once I get the compressor clutch thing sorted might give it a go though specially if it does end up leaking again, kinda hope not. Godzilla32 gotta give credit where credits due on your build an agree it came with aircon so getting it workin is worth it and makes the car seem unfinished/lesser if it isnt working, i think. Unless you have stripped it all out to save weight which is another thing alltogether

Powerfc - Is Datalogit Necessary, How To Connect To Carputer
noone replied to Trav33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
though the apexi software was in japanese, making datalogit the only real choice for those who read/speak only english, or are you only refering to the dongle connector part of the equation. -
"bleh air con is for pussy's. " might think different if u lived in Darwin as I do. Nice to be able to demist windows when its pissin down rain too. took it to another guy today and he checked it out and found it still had some gas in it just not enough, shows its good to get a couple of opinions, and find some one who is actually keen to do the job. Acording to this guy there is the possibility that an older leaking compressor especially one that has been left ungassed for a while the seals and such will dry up and shrink/contract a bit after a regas some of the lubricant soaks into these seals and gaskets allowing them to swell and OFTEN seal up again no guarantee's that it will but it can work that way. Seems to have worked for me though the coil is looking a bit iffy worked for most of the day before it tripped the fuse, will have to pull the coil and rewind or at least revarnish them as they are reading a little high compared with the 3.5 ohms (from memory) that the manual say u should see to earth. Lucky there is a good howto on this very site showing how, to pull the coil, and I know the local motor rewinder helps a little too, thanks to all who offered help or opinions

chasing that option up 2morrow but read on here parts to rebuild are rare as hens teeth also, was in one of the sticky's I think about r32 aircon self diagnostics, thinking may even be an option to repipe modify pipes to suit, hopefully might find some sort of solution soon its damn hot at the moment. had a look at your restoration post godzilla32 awesome work mate top stuff. "The GTR is truly paradise for someone desperately wanting to empty their wallet" so true so true

R32 Gtr Parts And Other Stuff Prices Dropped
noone replied to GTRGTR's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
wouldn't have a zexel model air conditioner compressor would ya, would have to post it but i will happily pay postage if u got one -
if sneezy32gt4 dont take that powerfc pm me as i will u would have to post it though
-
To save others the hassle no gts-4 air compressor doesn't work on a gtr physically similar in size and mounting but pipes and fittings dont match up. Damn Looks like I might remain airconless
-
Just wondering what u r using for a spare tyre, have 18's so stock spare is useless an trying to find out what others r using
-

Who Has Actually Upgraded Their R32 Gtr Brakes
noone replied to SIR032GTR's topic in South Australia
Was considering the change to 33 rotors for my 32 as well, rotors will need changing soon so good time to do it, was wondering if any changes to master cylinders etc was required. If using the stock calipers I would think not, can anyone confirm this. To those who have upgraded calipers, did u have to address the master cylinder/Booster etc or wasnt it an issue? -
Okay just Jap couldnt help turns out the zexel brand one I have is harder to get than the calsonic have found a mob in adelaide who have one offa gts4 that may do the trick anyone done this before and can confirm/deny that it fits
-
Sure that I read somewhere else or may have been on here even that the circuit in the Autospeed article doesn't work, (seem to remember it was someone selling TSC (torque split controllers) who said this, can anyone confirm or deny this.
-
sorry for the slow reply been busy got it checked out today an they reckon the compressor is definitly leaking this wouldnt be related to coil pulling out would it?
-
Thanks for the reply much appreciated, wanted to get it all sorted before my next service so as to put in sandwich plate for the sender

Hey all, finally got myself a GTR gunmetal grey 32 an happy as could be, have found the oil pressure gauge isnt correct and have read they are not really reliable anyway so looking to add an aftermarket one. car came with a defi boost gauge and controller so thought I could add an oil pressure of the same brand. Does any one know if the new defi gauges work with the older controller. Not worried about the black out type gauges just the standard defi. Have included pics of the gauge and controller if that helps.
