  1. WTF? Is this as bad as it sounds? edit: Didnt realise the date
  2. yeah spot on
  3. Fair nuff then, yeah it runs under windows an under linux using a virtual machine, but as its a old laptop i hoped i could run linux as its faster an still run Nissan Fast, its working okay with a virtual machine but would have been easier using WINE as I dont have to boot another OS. I can get it to try an boot but it doesnt see the CDś as I cant get the cdsetup working under WINE. Yes it works under windows with or without the virtual machine thing.
  4. Is that a serious question??
  5. Okay firstly I am a newb to linux. That outa the way have just installed Mint 10 on my old Dell XPS, it actually installed much easier than WinXP. Only thing is am struggling to install Nissan Fast, without which I may have to reinstall windows. Tried WINE via the PlayOnLinux frontend an not much luck it installs but crashes on the ONFM010.rpt file continually Tried opening exe files manually still no joy except Nfmenu.exe which opens but wont do anything else. got a feeling it does the same under winXP Anyone know linux an got any ideas. Doubt the old lappy got the grunt for a virtual machine so hoped WINE would cut it, maybe not dont wanna Dual boot for one program.
  6. Much easier than trying to do it afterword.

  12. Damn this is a long ,interesting, at times bafflingly technical read, damn cool. 15. Checking the low pressure switch with a multimeter will answer your question Should see a circuit, alternatively earth the other side of the switch, car side, that will prove it as well. Next step back is pin 9 I think on the ecu, hopefully you dont have the problem I do with the ecu not earthing that output
  16. A little off topic an might open a can of worms but would the same advice be given for a built motor with minor headwork an 2530's??????? Would the bigger turbos give more relevance to bigger cam's Just curious as to others opinions
