  2. Free bump nice car whats the offset on the wheels if ya dont mind me asking an did ya have to remove the plastic inner liners?
  3. Do you think you would have been alright with 255's ??????
  4. Running the UAS one seems to clunk a bit at low speeds eg reversing outa the driveway Can be a bitch to remove if you let the back uni thingo come apart as you remove it, be warned!!! Other than that all good though Am not running a tailshaft loop and passed rego like that though thinking about it it seems very sensible to run one edit: did ya get UAS to make ya up a tailshaft loop?? Would be interested in price maybe they would do em cheaper if they had to make a couple Group Buy????
  5. Am I correct that the ID2000 being high impedance doesnt use the resistor pack??? Bit of a noob question but how do you achieve this? custom harness ?just unplug ? bridging plug? What computer if you dont mind answering? Am running a pfc and am very interested in the ID injectors had thought ID1000 would be big enough to ensure overheads even on E85 (which isnt available to me , yet)
  6. Damn what do you mean they rub whats the ride height Was convinced after your last wheel thread these would have fit no probs was thinking the same sizes ish for mine would a bit more stretch make the difference ie smaller tyres ??? they do look fairly square sided if ya know what i mean the tyres that is the rims look great
  7. Doesnt appear to have the capacity above the pump Steve-O's does curious coincidence the sellers name is Brad???? Any more info available on these like the sound of the foam too, pm if ya prefer Does it mount in roughly the same position?? Safe too assume 2 x 44's or bigger?? Or was the lift pump more the issue?? Was planning on using my Nismo in tank as a lift then probly two 44's
  8. +2 for the part number request have noticed my lights dimming on idle a little idles at about 850 rpm (might be alternator slowly dieing) planning an beefed up fuel system so some more juice (electrically as well ) would be a good thing I reckon
  9. Have you tried autoglym aqua wax? spray on while the car is still wet spread with microfiber towel buff off after with clean microfiber sposedly has a fair bit of carnuba so acts as a good top up for your wax too quick easy an smells like bubblegum one of autoglyms better products
  10. X1 gazillion Black would look so so much better
  11. No not correct earlier R32 GTR were push clutch an the non preferable short nose requiring a crank collar crank mine is an 89 an was this way now has a collar Later R32's were R33 style oil pump drive an pull clutch ala R33 as well Not 100% on the year this changed though
  12. Whats the go Fatz has this group buy died or what would be keen if it hasnt but need a oil cooler soonish so not keen to wait for ever
  13. so the cat has no effect on emissions then an is pointless??? Sorry if you thought I was off topic an I guess I was was just interested to see if others thought Decat was a worthwhile thing to do during tuning runs Agree this is the best way however most are done from the tailpipe
  14. Wouldnt dynoing with a decat give more acurate results as far as AFR's go or do cats actually do nothing to effect what come outa the tail pipe ???????
  15. Try your local industrial lagging service they use some interesting materials like this including a metallic heat reflective duct tape kinda stuff, i pinched as many rolls as I could get my hands on :)from various employers believe aircon guys use similar stuff, would be ideal to seal the overlap area stainless cable ties as mentioned would be the go local sparky supply place should have em most gas plants seem to spend a fortune on lagging pipes to control temperatures of compressed gas low sound familiar???? interested to see if you get any measurable results reckon just slowing the heat soak alone is a win combined with a decent CAI cant see why you wouldnt get some results
  16. Was pretty sure pins are illegal flush fitting aerocatch's etc. are legal
  17. Want to eventually hook mine up with a Hobbs switch (pressure switch ) on both oil and fuel pressure oh and an over-ride so I can actually start the car Probly best chance of saving it if all goes wrong, again edit: I guess if ya made the override so ya had to hold it in/on it wouldnt be bad security too
  18. U have two crimped (eyeletted) connections to the alternator yeah I know coz I had the larger one, sounds about the size you talking, come loose and battery wouldn't charge properly if not post a pic maybe some one can have a look for ya?
  19. The Hicas ends are a press fit into the hubs so not really at all like the front tie rods and a bastard thing to change out for more info http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/Ca...ml&hl=press follow the link duncan posted to if the car is track only not road rego is probly a better way to go
  20. http://www.takakaira.co.jp/Main.aspx Field one touch connector FTW!!!!!!!! Not a cheap option but undoubtedly the BEST way combined with the strip an solder method I think If only temporary though Solder a bit of solid wire to ya leads an push into the back of the plug
  21. Damn mate hope all goes well for the last hurrah, I feel even more guilty now bout not getting back to you bout that ATI balancer swap Those that run drag racing in this country really need to wake up before they drive all the new guys out bunch of holden 1 tonners with chevs n cages aint half as interesting or RELEVANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  22. Dirts method quoted above seems sound I reckon Used a 240v electric rattle gun on mine claimed to be capable of 350 nM Unfortunatly I may have to take it off now in the car, not looking forward to that.(Due to other issues) Also used a new bolt an washer from Nissan wasnt to expensive either from memory
  23. Cant see how it would make a difference to access not the one looking at it in the metal though so hard to say as long as you are using bolts of the same or at least very similar grade cant see how it would hurt as they should stretch and react to heat the same that said cant tell you what grade they are
  24. Mine comes on at 90 degrees not that extreme really especially if ya are running the A/C at idle
  25. Its a fun fun track!!!!!!!!!!!!
