  1. I guess I'm trying to say its good for a dyno test. But its not a real world situation. I can say I have full boost at 3000rpm, that only happens in a situation you would never use. 4th gear, 3000rpm is about 80km/h. I would be in 2nd or 3rd gear if I wanted to have some fun. Hey, why not load it up in 5th gear going up a hill and see how quickly it builds boost. Take it easy. Mad skids uleh.
  2. I mean 4th gear, 3000rpm, short-stroke, 2.5L engine has no power there. Doesn't matter how much boost I have, I won't be frying me tires.
  3. On the road my 2835 ProS: 2nd gear: 4000rpm, 21psi 3rd gear: 3500rpm, 21psi 4th gear: 3000rpm, 21psi Obviously 4th gear: 3000rpm, 21psi is basically usless. No tyre frying power there.
  4. Not sure if its the exact same spec but the S63 engine uses exhaust pulses from each bank through the twin scroll turbos http://www.bimmerboost.com/content.php?1157-BMW-twin-turbo-V8-analysis-Power-potential-tuning-performance-and-architecture-of-the-N63-and-S63-motors
  5. Any evidence to show this happens? Maybe if you just stuck in on right in front, but most setups have a good 200mm between the AFM and turbo. Any evidence to show 4" to 3" reducer causes a restriction?
  6. Yes your're right. Although, never it labelled as a TD06SL2-25g, only have seen TD06SL2-20g & T67-25g
  7. Have a look at the table here: http://www.supraforums.com.au/forum/under-bonnet/37485-td06-25g-turbo-kit.html There's a: TD06SL2-20g T67-25g TD06SH-25g I've can't recall seeing a TD06SL2-25G. According to that table the TD06SL2 has a smaller compressor wheel than a T67.
  8. 230rwkw out of a stock turbo? Happy dyno. LOL.
  9. Too much boost early in the rev range. WTF? Never heard that before. You should drive a 6L Supercharged V8. That's low down power. You need to learn some right foot control. Throttle isn't an on/off switch.
  10. No sheet. 345rwhp on 18psi. I think its a little low but my engine old and tired. Almost dead.
  11. Mine came with a reducer to the Intake pipe. I'm pretty sure its 4" on the turbo, definitely bigger than the intake pipe. I'll measure it on the weekend.
  12. I guess it can vary. My stock AFM and Inj were out at 210rwkw.
  13. Hey Rolls, I know what A/R is. If you change the cross-sectional area of a 3d object the volume will change. Quick spool valve is not changing the A/R. I'm sceptical that blowing half the turbine wheel will give quicker spool. Anyway if quick spool valves really work go buy one and prove me wrong.
  14. DOes a twin scroll turbo work to 100% effiency if only one side of the divided housing has exhaust flow? Doesn't sound right to me. Hey I could be wrong.
