  5. i dont know if its the same sound but i had a noise that sounded like a bearing in the turbo, sounded like it came from the turbo anyways. turned out to be timing belt bearings were gone, replaced them and sound disappeared. Could be wrong but it would explain why changing the turbo didnt fix the sound...
  6. funny you should say that, i drive a coupe and it reg as a sedan... little bit off topic i know but i guess it helps
  7. Spotted a Silver R33 in Surry Hills a few days ago plate SQ11SH had SAU stickers

  9. well im 22 and like 8 months i have R33 GTST, exhusts, wheels, cooler, and shannons would only insure me if the car was kept of street and not visable for the road at home (which it is) but it also had to be in a locked and sercure car pack at work too, but yeah they wanted high $'s not sure how they will be with a GTR, worth a call tho
  10. yeah no worries mate, let me know how you get on
  11. hey mate not sure what the 1st and 2nd pics are, but im pretty sure the 3rd is the window winder mechanism thingyo, you know makes the window go up and down when you press the button (and is upsidown in the pic)
  12. hi guys just a quike tip, call GIO and ask to be put thru to "Custom Car" (they are to GIO what just car is to aami) and will match just cars primium and they have lower excess fees and offer choice of repair and for like an extra $5-$10 a month you can get a rent-a-car for 14 days in the event of a crash (which was pretty useful) hope this helps guys

    The Wall!

he was also amazed at the reason the car looks the way it does, being completely aerodynamically functional. plus as mentioned earlyer it did break his neck
  15. hey they not sure about you pod noise problem, however the stock boost gauge is in BAR and its actually 0.7 which is about 10 PSI, perfectly safe for stock turbo your pod noise could just be a high flowed turbo and the type of dump pipe on the car, i know my spool noise got a hell of a lot louder when i put on the X-Force dump pipe and then louder again with the pod... just guessing thou
  16. also expressing interest, just need to find the funds, and a helmet should be a good opportunity for me to learn some great skills, chicks only like guys with great skills
  17. actually, looking at it again, any fiberglasser should be able to rig something out for you, he should be able to just slap the muld on probly cost about 100$-200$ and they you get it resprayed. (obviously more technical then that )
