(if you can afford a skyline you can afford to pay $36 to run your car down the strip all night) the system is designed to punish repeat offenders, but at the same time not unfairly hit people who are lost in a moment of passion behind the wheel. its designed to punish those who speed everywhere, as opposed to those who speed sometimes. double demerits are in the news around christmas (and other holiday periods) because a lot of people travel south into nsw and victoria which have the scheme. considering its well known the police are out in force around this time anyway, you'd be stupid to speed, and thats the whole point of the fines and demerit points. its to make speeding unattractive so people don't do it. one man going against 50,000 police is going to end in the one man losing. and i do think this is on topic, because how can you discuss speeding and fines without discussing the justifications behind the schemes.

year or so ago someone tried a lightassasin and killed the operator on of a toll booth on the gateway bridge they implemented the 60 zone to stop people from trying the "late braking" thing that lightassasin is talking about. they put up huge concrete blocks to stop people like lightassasin who "late brake" losing control and smashing through the toll booth. the cops book people who ignore the 60 zones for the fact that retards like lightassasin in there high performance (lol) r33s think they "late brake" at toll booths and still pull up in time, just like some retard in an r33 attempted to "late brake" before he crashed into someones house in brisbane that wasn't you was it lightassasin? cause like i said i'd like to buy the engine from your car.

if people want to speed in stupid places (like around toll booths) and lose their license, thats fine with me less cars on the road, less traffic, better for everyone plus they can help top up the governments coffers which means less tax for the rest of us who can actually read signs and drive

do it yourself, high tensile drill bits and easy outs its a c**t to do depending on which stud it is, but you can use low profile pneumatic drills good idea to replace them all anyway imo

i don't see what the problem is, sounds like you got done fair and square you got done for 4 points twice, which isn't minor at all just man up and accept the consequences of your own actions, be thankful you still have a license

i presume they are 555cc ones? low impedence and suitable for CA18s and RB20s (as well as RB26s) but you need ballast resistors
