  1. just to answer a couple of q's that have been asked: the car was imported by japlink motors in 2002, we were the first australian owners, but when they brought it over it had the fully worked race motor in it still, and they had hooked up the turbo boost controller backwards and therefore blew up the motor. They replaced it then with a series 2 motor instead of the series one, which the motor had 40,000kms on. the motor now has about 110,000kms, the car has 136,000 approx.
  2. bump no longer swapping for stagea as its owner is pregnant and no longer wants a coupe. Any decent swaps and offers considered.
  3. Ok, so if you are interested (all of you guys who have contacted us about this car) this will be gone after christmas, we will be swapping for a stagea if someone doesnt do anything about purchase straight away. So if you don't want to miss out but are hanging on for finance/ insurance pricing etc as some of you have told me, chase it up this week because it is definately going. Thanks for all those who have enquired about this car. Bel.
  4. updated ad. please read through. if you want any more info, please call us as Jeff knows more but is computer illiterate so I have tried to write what I know about the car, I didn't know that it has a series 2 motor or anything like that, so hopefully this will help you guys know what the car is worth. The timing belt was done at 60,000kms which is when the motor was put in, unsure how many k's were on it(the motor) then, we think from memory it was about 40,000?, the car has 13X,XXX on it now ie: we have done about 70,000 odd k's since changing timing belts etc. It can be re-done for you before buying if you want it replaced, we are happy to pay for that.. It has new front tyres on 17" tri-spokes. Look, this really is cheap for what it is, it needs a bit of work to be perfect, as all older cars do, but in good condition for a daily driven car of its age. Thanks, Bel.
  5. Ok, so have been offered a 96 stagea straight swap for our modified 94 skyline R33, what should I look out for guys... also what is the insurance like on these little things? is it cheaper or the same because it is still imported and turbo'd? have rung for a quote but waiting on a callback... Thanks in advance.
  6. hmmm shame you're in sa, we are after something more practical and have an r33 we would trade with cash our way, but we are in NSW... Good luck though, Bel.
  7. Thanks for that mate, yeah Jeff is very careful not to flog things, he really looks after his vehicles. Take care.
  8. We are reducing this further to $14k and still looking at trades, but again if you are going to trade we dont want to pay out any money, and want a manual please.
  9. more pics for anyone interested. Please note guys, if you want to part-swap a car with us, we are after a MANUAL transmission only, and wanting to downgrade our car, or else we might as well keep this. thanks, Bel.
  10. we would be happy to look at something like quinnys commodore he offered us if you have a manual one! Thanks!
  11. shame you've already got your r33 mate, was gunna ask if you wanted to trade up... always loved these little beauties. good luck and BUMP
  12. hmm, it isnt really what i was looking for, as if we were to take something like that we would want a cash adjustment, and yours has all the extras to bump the price up so much, also we are same as you, not keen on the autos. But Ill talk to Jeff tonight, see we were offered a VT 1998 calais last week with $5000 cash but didnt want it cuz auto.
  13. your details please? location, car transmission would be auto right, we really want a manual. and more details of car. give us a ring if you want.
  14. Well I think it worth it!!!, but the market is very slow isnt it? we have a silver one we were told by numerous people to put $20K on,we put $16500 and now reduced to $15000 have had lowball offers of like $11K or $12K though. People don't wanna pay or can't pay out the money on cars anymore i think. I'd rather keep ours than take peanuts for it, we're also in the middle of a contract buying land and living bush so may have to just park it out in the shed and use it when we go on a long trip to sydney or on a cruise day if it keeps up that way. Good luck with it though!

  18. R33 Skyline $14,500 slightly negotiable Interested in swaps, or swaps + cash, or just plain cash, or swap for a couple cheaper vehicles/ vehicle & bike. NSW preffered as cost of rego transfer/transport is not worth it usually. No stupid offers though thanks it's just wasting our time. Series 2 engine. Silver with bodykit, lowered with TEIN HA race suspension (adjustable coilovers), tri-spoke rims, BOV, turbo timer, GReddy Electronic Boost control, Big 4" all way through exhaust, 5 speed manual, after-market computer, air filter, remote immobiliser, etc etc etc etc... sounds great and looks great. NSW Rego'd, Complied Again This Year For Rego we are located near Wagga NSW which is about 5 hrs Sydney 6 hrs Melbourne. About 1.5 hrs from Albury/Wodonga. It has been well maintained as owner is a mechanic and fitter. Low priced to hopefully meet the current market. Don't lowball us too much guys as this is a regretful sale and have reduced it so much already, and we would rather keep it in the shed than sell it too much below what it's worth. Call 02 6929 1128 or mob: 0400 483 315 for more information.
  19. dont lowball us too much here guys, would rather hang onto it in the shed than sell too much below what we're asking, thanks.
  20. Ooh, ill check with Jeff when he gets home, I'm really not that good on the specifics. The boost control is a PROFEC, The suspension is TEIN sports spec type HA Driving Master height adjustable. at the moment it's set 90mm off the road at the lowest point of the car. Thanks for your interest.
