  1. i have recently got my car goin again and am wondering how everyone else sets up their external gate with an avc-r as i cant remember how it was origanally setup. from the COM port i have t peice to the comp housing and then runs down to the side of the wastegate (Tial 38mm) and then obviously from the NC port runs to the top of the gate. Has anyone else set theirs up like this or could it be backwards. Thanks Ryan
  2. dmr - power fc, standard diff and box on 18's. i wonder if it could have anythinig to do with having a big turbo therefore the engine doesnt have any help in the lower revs resulting in the engine working that little bit harder? dunno just a thought

  5. 32 GTS-T does 3100rpm at 100kpa or 4000rpm at 140kpa. seems to be a bit higher than others
  6. there's no way you would pull off the skin to get into the door, you can access all you need by taking off the trim. In saying that if you have a spot welder and heaps of time to waste you could do it that way!

    hey mate.. are you capeable of manufacturing an overflow & breather tank to fit in the overflow position for a 32?
  8. PM-R33 - na the gasket inbetween the runners is a very fine paper gasket i have bought plenty of them genuine from nissan. but yes your right it is a bit weird. SECURITY - nope not the joiners the only thing i can think of is the fact that a lean backfire is obviously quite a big explosion so maybe it has destroyed a vacume hose inside otherwise im all outta ideas. I recently blew the top off my custom alluminum plenum due to over boost and a lean backfire and much to my supprise i found small bits of rubber inside, now im guessing it would be a perrishing vacume hose somewhere but am curious of other peoples opions on what else it could be! Any and all feedback appreciated Cheers Ryan
  10. ever since last winter my clutch has been squeeking but on and off not all the time. i got under the box and had someone press the pedal and it is coming from just inside the slave cylinder. is there anything in there i can lube up? is it easy to pull appart? i have been told berfore that i might have to wait till the box comes out to fix it. i dont know if i can wait that long it is co farking anoying i feel like a dickhead at the lights Cheers Ryan
  11. i have series 5 550cc injectors in mine but it wasnt heaps of fun to do, we had to stuff around trying to find the right o rings coz we kept spliting them in the end i spoke to peter hall at willall and he just said brute force and ignorence will get the job done but is a very tight fit. if you dont need the extra 90cc from the gtr to the series 5 then it would be alot easier to get series 5
  12. possibly fuel pressure, have u changed ur pump lately? filter?
  13. best way is get a breaker bar onto it with an extension and get it firm againsed the chassis and crank it over slightly..... works every time!

Inbetween the spoiler and the bootlid there is silacone type stuff so loosen your bolts almost all the way and the best way i found to do it is use fishing wire and slide it through continiously putting pressure on it and eventually it will cut through. This way you will not damage the apint and you can clean the surface after with turps or something but remember your ganna have holes.
  15. under the dash mate next to the steering colum there should be a pannel that you can take off and on the back of it will be a diagram showing you which fuse it is.

  18. i agree with adam- - the 34 conversion is fairly simple and looks insane! if not i would also recomend a carbon fibre bonnet and maybe a origin front bar from d1, good looking kit not too aggresive

  20. just out of curiousity... if your sitting at home on a day like this wtf u thinking? My excuse is im off work with a broken ankle that is almost fully heald but sat night i blew my custom inlet plenum appart running unlinited boost so now im stuck here!!!

  22. thats not too bad but depends on whats type of power you are looking to produce. And i would also suggest getting a leakdown test as this way you will know where you stand and where or what to do
  23. i thought the same aswell but it is in several different spots and doesnt look like water drops at all it looks more patchy if thats any sort of description. A mate said it might be getting too hot but the pfc hc says that the water temp is all good. F*%knoes!!!

  25. afternoon all, as it says above some of my radiator and other coolent lines are turning white ever since my last coolent change but the thing is i use geuine nissan concentrate everytime and make suse the ratio is always correct. If someone can shed some light on this i would be much appreciative. Cheers Ryan
