series 1 1993 r33gtst nissan skyline. i have owned this car for approximately 4 years. During this time it has been mechanically perfect, i have added and upgraded performance parts in the quest for 250 + kw aiming for a nice streetable import however priorities have changed now and unfortunately it is time to let her go , it has: series 2 rear spoiler 3'' xforce turbo back exhaust system front mount intercooler HKS GT-RS turbo kit 18'' advanti racing alloys saber boost guage gizzmo boost controller spitfire coil packs tomei fuel pump excedy heavy duty clutch mongoose alarm system gates performance timing belt installed at 140,000kms brand new battery fitted a week ago sony head unit, one sony 250 watt amp and one fusion 250 watt amp mounted in the boot the car will also come with an apexi fc computer however it has been removed from the car as i am advised it needs the hand controller to tune it. (the stock computer is running the car at the moment) As stated the car has been mechanically perfect however there are a few minor cosmetic flaws, I will try to describe them as best i can. some of the paint on the roof and bonnet is starting to look a little faded the front rhs quarter panel has a dent in it where someone hit the car in a parking lot ( i will supply another mostly undamaged one with the car) there is a small tear on the drivers side seat easily covered by a seat cover, the boot scuff plate was missing when i bought it. i bought another one however it turned out to be a series 2 one and doesn't fit (i will include it in the sale if requested) and the rear rhs plastic mud guard has a crack. The air-conditioning also needs a regas. These things are mostly unnoticeable and easily fixed. The current registration expires on the 24th of november. The car will be sold un-registered .i have asked my mechanic to have a quick look over the car and he said all it needs for RWC is 3 new tyres. the car can be picked up from the coorparoo area brisbane, with payment at the time of pickup. i am happy to answer any questions or arrange an inspection either through the site or on 0424634439 need it gone! for some reason i can only post these 3 photos at the moment will try again later.

was planning to spruce the old r33 up a bit but getting married and have to get some cashflow happening so i have for sale a set of six nismo 555cc injectors never used still in boxes, and a z32 afm never used still in box both parts were bought from nengun and shipped from japan. asking 700 (paid 900 odd) for the injectors and 250 for the air flow meter (paid 400), can post them to wherever, make no mistake these are completely new parts cheers....

Rb25 Pfc Internal Pics Please .
roy33 replied to discopotato03's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
just curious, why do you need that, i have a pfc that can run the car but dosen't respond when you try to tune it i.e comes up as "interface not responding" i'm thinking there may be a problem with the above mentioned socket, mine is the rb25det type aswell as opposed to the ecr33 model, do you have the same trouble? -
i know its a long shot but does anyone have the approximate dimensions of the jun crank collar, gunna make one, can't see how they can jusify the 200 odd bucks they sell them for. any help would be greatly appreciated just after some rough sizes.
-
ok, well that sounds pretty basic, 100bucks aint to bad either, looks like i'll probably be goin the 25 with 26 valve springs, i noticed that alot of people are choosing the 25de (na) heads over the 25 det heads, whats the reason 4 this, please excuse my ignorance but couldn't find anything
-
the engine will be goin in my r33gtst, but i need the car to be running to get to work, so i'll have to purchase a head for the rb30, got qouted 350 for a 25det and 1200 for a 26, i know that the 25det has problems with the valve float under high power, but will chucking a set of 26 valve springs in it fix the problem? just wondering what peoples opions are about the two heads side by side, waying up the cost difference. for those that have welded the 25det head, what was the preferred method, the block is cast iron so just wondering what people have used, eg mig with cast iron wire etc. i'm trying to do as much as i can, with no engine building experience, but i'm a fitter and turner so i'm able to drill, tap, modify etc. i wouldn't have even tryed without these threads.
-
ok cheers, trying to decide whether to go rb25 or 26 head, is the 26 worth the extra$ power wise?
-
i want an rb25 or rb26 head for my rb30 build, i'm in brissie. let us know if you have one. cheers, troy

! Cheap Cheap! Rb25det Engine
roy33 replied to charlie25T's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
head 4 sale? -
ok, so the speedy sleeves have been used sucessfully by people building these engines? so i take it upgrading the rods to forgies wouldn't be worth doin for 350 kw atw car, just get the stockos treated
