  1. I knocked 2 seconds off my PB. 1:53.633 was my best for the day. I was out getting some V-power and missed the mitsu hit the wall.
  2. No worries mate, it's locked in.
  3. I spoke to Narada and he is going to give us a group of garages in a row. Can everyone confirm their attendance by checking i've put your name down in the 1st post in this thread. With some people changing there availability, i hope i haven't missed anyone. I'll send Narada the list thursday night. andrew
  4. I'll speak to Narada. Nearly everyone gets a garage at EC anyway, so maybe we should all meet up somewhere and convoy in and take up a stack of garages. ap
  5. Hi all. For those of you who have competed in Targa Tasmania, what was involved in preparing your car? I'm investigating competing in Targa Tassie 08 in the rookie rallye section and just need to work out the costs of preparing my current road going car. I guess i need a half roll cage, driver+navigator harnesses, toe hooks front and rear......... Any info would be great. ap
  6. But that doesn't take into account his experiance at either track. Wheels magazine (May 1991) Kevin Bartlett, in the stock GTR with street rubber rattled off a 1:56sec lap at EC. Just goes to show you what a good driving can do!!!!
  7. I can't wait to get out there. I've had my car back to Eastcoast a few times sorting the car out. Ditched the set of eibach springs that I had in for some stiffer ones and a raft of other changes...
  8. I gather thats for a car+driver and an extra driver. I believe it's only $245 for car+driver
  9. Ok guys, who's in for the Circuit Club 4th August Eastern Creek Trackday? Circuit club days fill up really fast. 10. Guys i need some heap from the collective SAU brains out there. I'm looking to upgrade my fuel pump. I'm looking for the most easiest, non fuss, drop-in upgrade. At the same time i'm looking to add the following, 550cc injectors and nismo fuel reg. (which i currently have sitting on my work desk)

You need your rego papers too. I'm going to give this one a miss. And head out in two weeks. I was going to go next week, but SOO 3 is on. ap

I knew as soon as i filled her up, it was going to be clear.
  13. What does the car owe you? R32 GTRs are going for between $18-$25k depending on condition. It's a tough one, but maybe you'd get more back in sell the parts, then repairing it. Not that I want to know, fingers crossed my engine holds together, but where, what type of build level? ap

Well i'm planning on rain tomorrow, as i just put 60L of petrol in on tight-arse tuesday.
  15. Shame you moved it back a couple of weeks. I have a wedding on the 25th.
  16. I'm going back for seconds on wednesday. Who else is in? My brother-in-law is keen to get out there and get a time in his V8 and I promised i'd run my car with him.
  17. What lap timing equipment are you guys using? Where did you get it from and how much did it set you back. I'm looking at a "Hot Lap" timing setup. Looking for other options.
  18. R32 GTR, WSID - 12.39@106mph, 1.8 60' time, RE55s edit: I had my car weighed at scruteneering. 1549kgs. That's with 60L of petrol, full spare in the boot + tools.

Not much done to it compared to other guys. 254kw on CRD dyno, turbos 16psi, PFC, cam gears, standard fuel pump + injectors + AFM's. 660' time 7.994

Not anymore, i popped that cherry tonight. Had a great time out there. Early on there was virtually no one there. I managed to get 5 runs in and still leave early. The rest of the guys are still there putting in decent times. Brads time were dropping quicker then a 15year old at a Timberlake concert. I look forward to the videos of him chopping me. My best time was 12.39, 60ft of 1.88 and terminal of 171km/h. andrew

I'm in if it's dry. If not, push it back a week.
  23. Hi BB, I'm using Eibach springs front and rear and they are the same length and inside diameter. So it shouldn't be a problem keeping the correct ride height with the swap. ap
  24. There was to much roll, and the turn in wasn't that sharp. Considering the rear bar is full hard and the front is medium, i'm looking at increasing the spring rates and at least another degree of -camber up front. So i'll move the front springs to the back and stick some 400/375s up front. I think maybe the 275's could be a little light at the rear, but it'll cost me nothing to try them out. ap
  25. I enjoyed the day. Had the whole fam come down for a look. First few sessions i went out by myself and the rest of the day I took out passengers. I had new suspension put in the week before and I'm still nutting it out. I was a few seconds off my PB. The car ran without any problems and made it down and back. The night before I tore a hole in my rear muffler at a shell servo. Killer driveway. The drown in the car on the way down and back up almost made me deaf. The bad news is i've got alot of work ahead of me to tune the suspension to the way i'd like it.
