  5. In Particular I am after info about R33 GTS-t alternators and Fuel Pumps. Does anyone have characteristic pump curves for both/either the standard GTS-t and GTR pump... What is the Part number for both pumps? Has anyone bought a new alternator? if so what is the part number and where did u get it from? Does anyone have any information on this? Sorry about all the questions peoples, but I think that knowing as much of the information about these things will help me choose the best ones for my power goals. Thanks in Advance
  6. some cheapo paper element, not really worth anything much. 1/2 Mounting screws

  8. What do you want for the stock dump pipe?
  9. come on guys I'm looking to get rid of this stuff!!
  10. Looking to clean out some of the spare parts I have laying around.... GTS-T stancard airbox with air filter Blitz SUS LM Pod filter with adaptor and brackets (not the stainless steel one) 1 full set of GTS-t rims with tyres (most have scratches and tyres bald ) Make me a reasonalbe offer on any of the stuff above as I am looking to get rid of it.... Prefer Melb only, don't really want to COD or send anywhere!
  11. Lets clear up some issues.... Glycol is generally more viscous than water and has a lower heat capacity and thermal conductivity than water. Therefore has a lower heat transfer properties (than water) as the glycol percent (based on a water/glycol mixture) is increased... These are the boiling points of a Ethylene Glycol mixture with water with E.G in weight percent mixture within the water 0% 99 10% 100 20% 101 30% 102 40% 104 50% 106 60% 110 70% 115 80% 123 90% 140 100% 160 Therefore using something around 40-50% sounds right. I hope this helps guys!
  12. I don't think it would be worth sending them over, you'd pay $100 for postage alone
  13. One full set of rims with tyres most have scratches and tyres are only good for burnouts... Make me an offer
  14. approximately how much would they charge for a supply and fit?
  15. the shavings get caught in the thread of the tap!
  16. 760mm HG = 1 atm = 14.69 psi = 101.325 kPa = 1.01325 Bar
  17. The tool I bought is exactly what I need... It fits into a 13/16" socket with a grommet in it so it won't slip out, no air hole to blast through but I think it will do the job... Part number for all interested is 70448 brand ABW
  18. yeah, I've bought a tap to do the job only cost $17. Going to run it down no. 6 this weekend. Not really worried about carbon deposits falling into the cynlinder, they just burn up. Metal deposits on the other hand can be bad news.
  19. I was changing my spark plugs last weekend and something strange happened. As I was putting the new set in I got the the last plug no.6 closest to the firewall. Normally the Plug would rotate 10-11 times before I would need the torque wrench to tighten them up. But No. 6 only went around 4 times! Thinking nothing of this I went to put the coil packs back on only to find that now the no. 6 pack was sitting too high to do up the securing bolts! So I went in again removed plug six and then had a look down it with a torch... 5-6 threads from the bottom was all this black crap. Probably carbon deposits. It was all jammed up in the thread, this didn't allow the plug to go down properly. Has anyone got any easy solutions to this problem? So far I have tried the following... Cutting down a toothbrush (cleaning it up) and then using some carby cleaner to dissolve the carbon.... didn't work Getting a cheap bottle brush and then using some carby cleaner to dissolve the carbon.... didn't work Getting a old sprak plug cutting vertical grooves in it (like a tap/die) to collect the gunk... worked but took 6 hrs! I would really like to know if anyone out there has a better, cheaper and easy solution than this, so I can clean the threads in the other five cylinders! Thanks in advance
  20. I have a Black Series 1 GTS-T and just got the bonnet and front guards and drivers side rear 1/4 done... the old paint and new paint even though it was the same colour stood out like a sore thumb. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to the car and I have to get the doors and both other 1/4 done to get it looking right. I cutting the roof, boot and spoiler because they aren't in that bad a condition.
  21. you need to undo the bolt on the outside of the airbox where the AFM meets the airbox. The Nuts on the inside are permanently attached. Use a 10mm socket, makes it a piece of piss. Also as Craved said it is much easier to remove the airbox and AFM assembly out of the car! I changed mine in about 30mins.
  22. are you guys running unsheilded pods? Cause I change my pod back to the standard box with intake and the idle has really improved. I put it down to the turbulence caused by the clutch fan at low revs.
  23. Where abouts in Melbourne are you?
